Rule 199 has been proposed but you all should know a few things before voting:
1) Saturday is our anniversary and we are spending the night away from home. I don't intend on bringing my laptop so Sunday's update will be a little later than normal.
2) Sunday is father's day so he will be spending time with our daughter.
3) I sleep in on Saturday's, he sleeps in on Sunday's. Fat chance he is giving that up.
4) I don't let him look at my screen when I am updating so therefore he will have to watch me on my computer for any length of time before he "knows" if I am updating or not. He has a short attention span. :p
It destroys the viability of the game. We have a rule in place to allow people to put forth kill attempts anonymously, and to be able to do this proposal each time is ridiculous. There's an ability for that, too!
Wait a sec... the attempts are anonymous, and upon passage of this proposal, a HIGHER numbered rule comes into play, but a LOWER numbered rule says that the attempts will remain anonymous.
I think this rule will be immediately swallowed up by the Silver Rule, and be contradicted. It'll pass, but just be contradicted.
Sorry guys but I am swamped studying for a test and have no time to update. I will do an update tonight including marketplace when I get home from school. I apologize for the inconvenience.
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"
-The following rules have passed and are now rules of the game. P197 is a "red" rule because Rule 18 states:
"When a player attempts a Kill or Save, they may request the mod announce that specifically they were the ones attempting the action. If no preference is specified, the attempts remain anonymous."
and SR4 states:
"When two rules contradict, the rule with the lower rule number takes priority. "
Therefore, rule 197 cannot be executed unless Rule 18 has changed. As with all decisions, you are welcome to protest.

If a player who has commenced saving or killing actions is killed, ejected from the game, or place on the hiatus list, then all saving and killing actions by this player on other players are canceled immediately.
Once this rule passes, the perpetrator of the 6 kill attempts in post 875 shall be exposed by name in a post by the Mod.

The Cheater's Auction:
The following event is up for auction. Bids are to be made publicly in thread, and may include NomicBucks, Marketplace items, or any other item, promise, or declaration. Moratorium will deem who is considered the current highest bidder, and declare as such in thread.
Moratorium will wake up very early Sunday morning, and follow his wife around until he sees that she is about to update the marketplace. At that point, he will send a warning email to the address of the auction winner's choice, to warn him/her of the impending update of the marketplace. Moratorium will make no purchases from the marketplace for one hour following the update.
When you pass a car out-of-bounds in the Nascar 500, what do you do? Give the place back to the car you passed illegally. May not stop the black flag, but it does justice.
Upon passing of this rule, the moderator will create a private list of all items which qualify under the following statements:
- Not owned by any player.
- Not listed on any player's Kill or Save list.
- Not an ore.
The moderator will then select 10 items randomly from the private list, and then remove all instances of those 10 items from the marketplace. If the private list only contains 10 or less items, all items from the private list are selected for removal from the marketplace.
Once the moderator has completed this task, this rule is immediately deleted.
=======
The purpose of submitting this rule is to increase the importance of the items somewhat, in an attempt to speed things up a bit.
