If someone reaches a lynching majority before anyone has been boosted that day, nothing happens and they can be unvoted or receive additional votes as usual.

Reasoning is that the unbiased way to choose someone to boost would be to use a diceroll. An even better way to choose would be to decide who looks most pro-town. Patterns are easily manipulated (why every 6?). Also it's weird that you're so worried about your image that you stress the boosts are random.

If I'm feeling really snarky, I'd say you planted that post to cast suspicion on three townies when you flip scum.

ConsM, yes, anything that isn't cheating is ok in a mafia game. I've used tactics here that SA considers cheating just because they are allowed here (T/D although it failed, toxx clauses several times, etc.) You seem to honestly believe that's wrong though, so I'm willing to drop it.

For several pro town posts on this page including the boost 3 people logic which I agree with.

The mechanics of this game force everyone to play slightly differently by first naming the most pro town seeming players before they name the scummiest. Just like how it can be scummy to post without ever voting anyone in other games of mafia, in this game its scummy to keep posting without boosting anyone. Not doing so slows down discussion, just like not voting/not committing does in other forms of mafia. Slow discussion is bad for us.

Well, here lies the problem, where since he plays this way everytime, he forces upon himself a target and most mods know who he is so maybe they would be more than likely not to give him a scum role, but my vote stays with him until at least he is confirmed mastin's alt

Quick Question: As you guys can tell, I'm new to this forum. Generally, the roles are randomized. Is that not the case on these forums?

(Thank you SirTornado for explaining that). Just because he steam rolls everyone from the get-go and plays a scummy game doesn't necessarily mean that the mods will intentionally avoid giving him a scum role.

I'm rather skeptical of ConsonantM, solely for the fact that he seems entirely too willing to play the sacrificial lamb under the guise of, "Oh, I'm town. I'm doing this for our own good."

The best way to get out of the RVS is to draw attention to a serious point. If you were to do that while saying "Are we out of the RVS now? lol", it would take away from the seriousness of it.

Basically, my issue is that you did something just to appear protown and you went out of your way to make sure we knew you were doing it.

I'm going to go through look at a few things more closely (admittedly, I skimmed just to catch up).

I don't entirely feel comfortable laying down a boost on anyone just yet, but that might change upon further inspection.
