Anyone who wants to get to Albany can have a ride with me. Currently there will be room for 2 in my car, as I will have myself and Elias. Splitting gas and tolls is all I ask.

This is turning into a sausage fest. Xofelf, I demand that you find some way to pay for a ride with Shea. Pronto, sister.

Apologies, Im washing my hair, then getting the grey out some way... I might try some new styles then shave it off then try wigs, then wash them to see if they are water resistant. Im calling it the "Im washing my hair" weekend. I will probably do this whilst drunk. I would have come but the discovery of a grey nose hair just threw my schedule out of the window.
Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.

Yay, I took time off from work and was approved .. so I'm /confirmed.

I will be asking questions along the way I'm sure, and not entirely sure if I'll be staying overnight, just coming by for a day, driving home every night. I don't know. My wife and I need to discuss this further.

I haven't necessarily asked my wife yet, but would anyone be bothered by her attending. She doesn't play mafia, she does like to drink and play games though. Then again, I haven't quite figured out where our toddler will be during all this either.

I've never been away more than 24 hours from either one of them, so I hope you can see why this hard for me to figure out.

I'll definitely be there, just not sure about the duration just yet.

Both OGML and Shea have bugged me at this point to go to Beach Bam. Unfortunately I am poor and unless someone wants to pay hundreds of dollars for my attendance (payment for gas, tolls, hotels, food stops, and time taken off of work) I probably won't be going. Sorry the females won't get to see my beautiful pecs when I lay on the beautiful* beaches of New Jersey

*ed. note: beaches not actually beautiful

I have some very bittersweet news. I've been given the opportunity to travel to Australia for the last two weeks of June basically for free, which of course I have to jump on, but this means that I have to /out of beach bash, to my everlasting sorrow.

Man..well, have fun, OGML; it's a shame you won't be able to come.

By the way; do people have any food allergies or food preferences we should know about?

Yeah. You and Shea were like two seconds from getting ejected. Remember the guy who told you to put your clothes back on? That was his bedroom.

I'm more impressed that for not having met that person that he automatically knew I was visiting. What in the world was offensive about a bare man's chest?

Non-Knox kids are pretty obvious. Trust me.

(This doesn't preclude all visiting people from being Knox, of course. A few people are Knox and just don't know it yet.)

Depending on how quickly I can find a job, it might come down to this meet or flayming man. If that happens, flayming man will probably win.

Preparations are underway.

Sunday, Yos picked up a ton of soda for $1 per 2-liter. I picked up some alcohol for Saturday night. Yesterday, Yos took the alcohol, various board games and 22 bottles of soda and other supplies down to the beach house. While we were out on Sunday, we hit some video game stores. Karaoke seemed to go over pretty well last year, so I bought some more games from the Singstar variety.

I tried talking him into buying me a margarita machine to assist in enhancing my enjoyment of the party, but he declined. But it was only $70! !! !!! Bah. Fine. I had him take the smoothie machine/blender down to the beach house.

We're definitely looking forward to the gathering.

Ps. Don't forget sunblock...in case anyone should wander over to the beach.
