What makes you suspicious of AGar, I am confused.

@Papa Zito - I understand that the contradiction between those two posts that I pointed out was not the best evidence of me thinking that you were scum, but the massclaim thing is the thing that really bothers me. While their might be people that disagree with this vote, I am voting him because I currently find him the most suspicious.

Since Papa Zito has intoned for me to be more instructive, I suppose I should relent a little.

I don't want to tell you why I think AGar is scum yet - I'm not looking to convince anyone. I'm gauging reactions - I'm interested to see how AGar reacts to my serious consideration of his scumminess, as well as how others react. It's useful to me to see who asks for my reasons and who doesn't, it's though more useulf to see what others think of AGar regardless of my own process. I am specifically trying to avoid making a compelling case on him at this time (whether or not a compelling case exists), because if I did, people could rightly fall in line with my reasoning, and it would be more difficult to fault them for it.

I strongly subscribe to a limited information theory of mafia in all directions - that is, there is a significant degree of information that

everyone

ought to keep secret and/or is trying to keep secret. (I think it's important to assess the

motivations

for keeping such things undisclosed, but it is not always as important to know for certain

what

people are keeping secret, aside from their alignments.) To that end, I will not explain my actions all the time, nor do I think I

should

. I do think I owe the town explanations from time to time, and if I expect to convince anyone, I absolutely ought to give more compelling reasons for people to follow along with me.

It is worth noting that I find this approach to be more useful in finding scum, and simultaneously I tend to draw more people thinking I look scummy when I employ it.

I understood it completely. And I am not really in any hurry to lynch somebody, because this is day one, and we haven't gotten much information about other players yet. I think that people would seem more trustworthy if they didn't agree with everything that everybody said.

I do think that AGar seems to be just going with the flow which is a little bit scummy, but doesn't deserve my vote.
