Troll wrote:springlullaby's vote does interest Troll. In light of Post 407 (which be the latest set of reads springlullaby seems to have given) Troll wonders why it is that Vi be the one that springlullaby would like to see pressured at this time?
That's an okay question but I would think that the answer is pretty self evident. I was wrong about Artem, I'm revising a lot of my views.

Your vote is meaningless to me. I'd like you to clarify your suspicions/and or what you expect to accomplish by it.

Vi came off as very moody very early on. When I'm scum I like to hint at being angry, at having an ego, to establish my character as a townie made of blood and flesh. I think it may have been the case there.

The Vi/Adel thing, very early on.
The Adel vote, about 1 hour ago in my reread.

The inconsistency in Vi's play be what Troll had in mind. When you voted Vi at the start of the day (4 hours or so ago) had this been an issue for you?

So was there any reason that you picked Vi out in particular? Post 621 indicated to Troll that this was your reason but it seems that no was the case.

I picked Vi in particular out of a mysterious process which was half elimination, half gut upon seeing the morning corpses. There are also some irregularities that I have noticed yesterday which have factored in, but I'm going to engage Vi in a conversation first.

Troll will let springlullaby talk to Vi for a bit then and see where that conversation goes. Troll's vote be largely based on what Troll said yesterday which Troll knows that springlullaby no loves but Troll can live with that. Should Troll see a reason to move Troll's vote Troll will.

Actually, a question Troll has for everyone be what did you think of populartajo's play as of the end of day one? Troll knows him was town now so Troll no needs any in depth answer at all but Troll be curious.

You know, if I were quite a different player with a cat avatar, I'd be bringing up a ball-kicking theory right about now. That'd be a most interesting idea.

So it turns out that when I'm thinking out loud, it helps if I make it clear what I'm referencing in order to avoid funny looks. Bed now.

springlullaby 621 wrote:Actually I will make this simple.

Vi, you have called for an Adel lynch very early in D1 (note here that I think the exchange between Adel/you at the beginning of the game was bizarrely moody - I think it may have been ego-crumbing) - and you seemingly had a true bone of contention with her for a long time judging by the span of time you left that vote on. Yet when Ectomancer and Porkens started the only true Adel wagon of the day, you did not comment on it one single time. I think this is pretty scummy and unlikely behavior as town. So why are you voting Adel now?
Okay, I know what you're talking about.

I walked into this game with rumors, basically, of how Adel played (most of them not more descriptive than "scary"). Thus I challenged Adel at the first sign of uselessness like I would any other player... and met unprecedented snarky resistance while receiving no answers to my line of questioning. (Something similar happened with you, incidentally.) I then noticed that even though Adel was being obvNotTown (IMO) some people were content to let him go (Korts, for instance), which was... baffling. So when Adel mentioned the Polygamist game and said "lrn2meta", I actually did it. That led to two other games where Adel was of each alignment, and I found that Adel played the same cryptic way in both games, but eventually delivered in some semblance of a timely fashion. So with that I backed down for a while (if nothing else I didn't expect him to look better until some arbitrary time when he felt like providing) and watched, seeing if I could read between the lines of Adel's posts to ascertain their relevance (and knowing fully well that there was a good chance there wasn't any).

But at this point D1's over, and it's pretty obvious that Adel has nothing but more excuses to show for a D1 made of stalling. Remember that questionnaire at the beginning of the game? I do. From what I can tell, Adel doesn't. I'm out of patience.

Are there other issues?

Artem being dead left us with only 1 other cat avatar that I can see and that is me, so I was wondering what I was looking for, still thought you were looking for something, but now I see MBL with a kitty too, so...

Anyhow, I don't know if it was an overnight kick or early pressure being brought on today on the less-than-involved after our roleblocker turned up dead and the theory arose that there was cover going on and therefore whomever sent in the kill was probably hiding in there somewhere.
It is weird that Spring has a good line going on Vi, but then tells Troll she didn't see it until after the vote? I think that supports your ball-kick idea somewhat. Do something and then find a reason for it after the fact?

@Vi - Why wasn't it a good idea to push the wagon when myself and Porkens were pressuring Adel? (I know I already said why it wasn't, but was that your reason back then?)
Was there anything you considered that might be more important than pressuring Adel (again) this early in Day 2 given events and a claim?

Assumptions:
1. SpryeX is not mafia and pulling an incredible gambit
2. Tajo was killed by the mafia group
3. At least one member of the scum group has played with Tajo before (probably more)
4. The mafia group includes 3 players

Living players that stated that they have played with Tajo within the last 6 months: SpyreX, springlullaby, Zorblag, Vi (assuming he meant "tajo" when he wrote "taco"), Adel. I know that Elmo is familiar with Tajo, and so is DGB.

Conclusion: The mafia group includes one (and probably two; possibly three) out of (Adel, Elmo, DGB, springlullaby, SpyreX, Vi, Zorblag) .. which basically only leaves out Porkens and Ecto.

fwiw, here is the sketch i have in my notes for my (now aborted) case against SpyreX from day 1
[quoter]Spryx was paired with me in ___
Spryx mentioned in the "am I good player thread" thread on ____ that " "
Spryx has referenced meta use in a positive way in these games ____ as town.
Spryx has made these other posts mentioning meta____

datamine starting point: search author: Spryx

narrative:

adel places focus opon meta
artem attacks hero on meta grounds
spryx attacks meta as abstract notion
adel challenges atrem wagon... it disollves
spryx attempts to link adel to hero[/quote]
note taht I assumed that Hero was scum, and the Atrem wagon was based upon defending Hero.

I'd skimmed a lot of SpryeX's posts, and I felt that there was plenty there to fill in those blanks once I had enough time to go back and be rigorous about it.
