I thought he was scummy with the "plain" ordeal but the speed at which the wagon developed concerned me so I did not vote. Then, when he claimed cop I was against the lynch on those grounds. You don't lynch a claimed cop day 1. Then when he flipped out I was against the lynch because in my experience, players who play that bad are frustrated town. I've never seen scum play like that, ever.

I will not try to say that being off the lynch clears anyone as that is clearly not true, but I think that lynch analysis is the most powerful tool the town has on day 2 (assuming no power role info) and I would bet that there were at least two scum on that wagon. We know it wasn't Lamont or BC, so I highly recommend that everyone go back and read through those who were on the wagon and look for the votes that appear the most opportunistic or wishy-washy. There are your scum. I will be doing the same.

you guys sure didn't give me much time to get caught up before lynching yesterday.

I have read the thread, but as 90% of the conversation yesterday was regarding Kise, I don't remember reading much that could be a good starting point today.

The best I got is this:

izzy iso 5 - fluff comment regarding Kise.

izzy iso 6 - this is horrible logic... I think izzy was trying to play on the idea that kise was lining up lynches, but thats not what happened at all. Look at what izzy said specifically: "set up tomorrow's lynch

if you die today

is not a townie thing to do" - I disagree... if I'm town, and I'm about to be lynched, I'm going to make sure I make my feelings known about who I would like to see lynched tomorrow. It won't mean I'm right, but its not scummy to say who I think should be lynched tomorrow if I'm about to be lynched today.

izzy iso 7 - up to this point, izzy still hasn't given any valid, independant justification for wanting to vote kise. Now izzy wants to stall and analyze, but would be voting if kise wasn't at L-2.

izzy iso 8 - After calling for the town to slow down and analyze, izzy does not do any of that. Instead, she throws some fuel on the kise fire by jumping back in with an oppotunistic AtE point.

izzy iso 9 - Now izzy is back throwing fuel at the kise wagon by discounting his claim solely because its a popular scum claim (aside: I think doc is a more popular scum claim, but I disgress). Izzy also says, "Scummy play + Cop claim usually = Scum." - notice that to this point, izzy has still not mentioned once in any post what about kise's play is scummy. It seems she's just riding the wave of momentum building up against kise.

izzy iso 10 - Not sure at all what izzy is trying to say here about the way he claimed.

izzy iso 11 - now "playing a cop role terribly" is good enough justification for a vote? Also, remember back to iso 7 - izzy didn't want to vote then and wanted to slow down and analyze - she did none of that, sat back throwing fuel on the flames, and now votes 4 posts later. Just supports the idea that the only reason izzy asked the town to slow down was because it is the "politically correct" thing to say in that position to try to earn townie points.

izzy iso 13 - izzy still hasn't explained how kise was acting like scum. Still using the momentum built up against kise riding the coattails of the popular belief.

izzy iso 14 - scummiest post IMO - basically says "Kise is scum because even if he is cop, he won't be trusted and has no credibility"

Look at this statement: "If he lives, he'll be an easy distraction scum can exploit." - seems izzy expects kise will be town here.

Disclaimer tacked on at the end: "Essentially, I think he's probably scum and he needs to die now regardless." - I can't find anything good enough in izzy's posts to justify her saying she thinks kise is probably scum.

Add this post to things I don't like about izzy's play in this game... Trying to figure out WHY someone was nked pretty much never leads to catching scum, and ends up being nothing more than WIFOM.
