I know it's good meta to lynch all liars and self-voters and all, but should we put that above scum-hunting?

I'll trust kise in Day 1 so he can give his power a whirl. Let me look at the bandwagon and find possible scum now.

There are reasons why its good meta:

1) The town will catch scum more frequently than the baseline average for a D1 lynch

2) The town will benefit from clearing out a liability that could be used to really interfere with

real

scumhunting (especially in the endgame when it counts the most).

So, you

cannot

separate meta-lynching from scum hunting. They are one and the same thing.

To do so displays conflicted logic; a certain "scumhunting schizophrenia" if you will...

Please read this case on Xyl. I didn't vote him for the bandwagon, I just FoSed him. And also, this is why I found his vote on Kise suspicious.

He not only basically copied the post before him and just changed the name, but offers no other case against Kise (see: any of his previous posts). If he wanted to kill Lamont, then why didn't he keep his vote there? Aside from his random vote,

I guess - and it may be inexperience talking here - that I've never really seen scum rant so angrily and self-hammer like that. I've seen a couple of instances where a misguided townie may have done it, but not scum. So that was one of the things that made me say Kise may be an emotional townie instead.

And Lamont is right (post 215). I've looked at the bw and have nada. Kise may have effectively threw up a smokescreen there.

I'll try to come up with my summary thoughts on each player in my next post.

1. Xylthixlm - Flip-floppy... Seems way too carefree; as if he's luring a cop to target him, knowing he'd get an innocent read. If that's the case, then he's a possible Godfather.

3. Kise - A ladies' man.

4. ConsonantM - Somewhat laid back, but very critical.

5. Lamont_Cranston - Probably a good-natured townie, just a bit of a heckler.

6. sam.samhorn - Brief. He speaks his mind, but he doesn't speak enough.

7. inHimshallibe - Doesn't make enough vital post for me to make a decent evaluation on him.

8. Phoebus - A 3-post wonder.

9. lazarusmoth - A 4-post wonder.. but more opinionated than Phoebus.

10. xRECKONERx - An independent player so far; meaning I can't link him to having any buddies in this game.

11. DizzyIzzyB13 - Tunneler. If she were a man, she'd have a stiffy from being so lynch-happy.

12. cateraction - Assertive. More so an independent person rather than a follower.
