However this isn't a nightless game, and so therefore it would not be balanced as such, though it might be somewhere in the middle, I do still believe that the Night kill is VERY important to the scum, enough so that a doc would be important.

But now that I think about it, a Doc makes more sense because of the possibility for multiple Night kills, he might be the town "failsafe" in such an event.

The important data point here is that an 18-player vanilla nightless game - where the scum have no kill whatsoever - would be balanced at 5 scum.

Night kills are not as important to the scum as you think. Scum missing one night kill due to a doc would not be a huge swing in the game.

yer, to be honest I find that quite likely, it would just mean that Empking has ripped off yet another aspect of my play in Past Ages Mafia :P
