Dawn had barely breached the darkness when another explosion occurred. Khaatamul Anbiya ali Mutawakkil had been the target of an attack from Muzukkir bin Muhaymin, and two more terrorists were dead.

Another night, another death. The remaining terrorist wake up to find another body, this time that of Zu Fadl al Mufaddal's, who is clearly not working for MI-5. As the remaining six prepare to start the day, Tayyib bin Hadiyatullah seems to be acting weird. Aaus al Qadamu Sidq goes into another room to speak with him about it, but only Tayyib returns. Alarmed, Aashir bin Miftaah ur Rahmah rushes towards the room, arming his bomb as he approaches Tayyib. "Do you think that will work," asks Muddaththir bin Qaaid ul Ghur ul Muhjjaleen, "when I have already disabled your detonator?" Aashir looks down in dismay at the disarray of wires in his pack, only then noticing the blood swelling from his breast where Tayyib's bullet took him. He turns as he falls, reaching out to Hareesa laykum al Rahmah for help, but it is too late. Before everything goes dark, Aashir sees Rasool ur Ra'ahmah bin Siratum Mustaqeem approach Hareesa from behind and snap his neck, ending the Al'Qaeda threat in London. Rasool, turns to Tayyib, remarking on their success. "I think that turned out rather well, Dominic. They were so paranoid we merely had to watch as they destroyed themselves." Dominic Wilkinson grabs Aashir's body and drags it into the room with Aaus's body, beckoning to Muddaththir to do the same with Hareesa. "Quentin, bring him in here, we'll burn this place down to remove the evidence." Quentin Callaghan nods in agreement and grabs Hareesa's body, motioning to Rasool as he does. "Watson, grab the gasoline from out back and cover this place when we're done" Dominic Watson does so, and soon the building is completely covered in flames.

Mod Notes:

- I think the town severely misplayed by being so triggerhappy, although crywolf accidentally saved one of the mafia from being killed by causing aggro to herself, so that didn't help.
- I think the potential for the town to lose up to 3 people in a Day/Night phase is somewhat excessive, and I would change that in the future.

I intend to run Suicide Bomber 2 Mafia ASAP, which will include several changes I've been working on, and should be a longer-lasting game, at the very least. Keep an eye out for it if you want to sign up!

Also, this was the shortest Large Theme ever, as far as I can tell. Texas Justice was 6 pages as well, but it ended about 20 posts later than this one.

Btw the game sucked. Everyone was all rawr and trigger happy. Killed the goddamn discussion.
I don't think the suicides should've ended the day giving it striaght to the mafia.

Any time mafia wins without two thirds of the group posting until the game is essentially over, something has gone seriously wrong. It'd be interesting to see this game played without people randomly suiciding people for the hell of it.

Take away the suicide bombs, give everyone an (optional) vengeful kill when they're lynched. Same balance, but it makes it harder to screw up.
Although I know people will try to get themselves lynched so that they can get the vengeful kill.

Anytime you allow townies to daykill without a way to regulate daykills, town has to win by luck, because there will always be people who want to use the daykill more than they want to win.

I'd advise combining elements of this, and Glork's
Martyr Mafia

*All Townies have a Suicide-Bomb
*Scum only have a group NK
*Scum win if their faction wins
*Town wins in any of the following
**They get NK'd
**They bomb Scum
**They survive until all Scum are dead

That should (in theory) limit the random bombings, since anyone that bombs Town loses.

In theory the fact that blowing yourself up when you're not about to be lynched lowers the town's chance of winning should limit the random bombings.

Part of the problem is that most players, most of the time, are more confident in their judgement than they actually should be. "I'm totally sure X is scum, so I'll bomb him and take out a scum!"

I agree with most of what's been said above. I've definitely had similar thoughts already, and some of those thoughts will be incorporated into Suicide Bomber 2.
