Just a heads up, I'm American but I live in Sicily because I am stationed here with the Navy, so my time zone is 6 hours ahead of EST which is probably the same time zone as TDC. I normally wake up with a bunch of pages to catch up on.

ogb tried to distract from the actual game of mafia by making this into a game of guess who. scummy enough to lynch right now.

It might be worth the lynch just to be rid of the distraction and diversion, especially because he's not even adding any useful insights or information, and is doing exactly what charter says below.

No, he is spending his posts ACTIVELY trying to derail the town. The quantity of his posts is irrelevant. The quality of them is incredibly scummy.

He is trying to divert attention to finding alts, not finding scum.

Onto Mufasa, I don't understand why someone would claim on Day 1. It just makes no sense. It just made him a Mafia target.

So, rather than using your own personal judgement on abilities and such, you would rather have the town and possibly scum coordinate your night actions for you?

One of the points of the game is to be able to think for yourself. If you have a power, sometimes you have to take a shot in the dark, especially in the early days, but you have to be able to trust your instincts. Are you trying to tell us that you don't trust your own instincts? That's the basis for any Mafia game.


I also enjoy Iamausername's catch, but the word "Jack of all trades" is a fairly popular term. Maybe he decided that's what would be easiest for us all to understand?

I am trying to figure out what your "plan" is because your posts are quite cryptic and kind of hard to read.


This post makes me a bit apprenhensive of Mufasa:

A (quick) review of Mufasa's prior games on this site suggests that he is a complete menace to the game of Mafia, even when he's town. He lies when he is town. And not just little white lies either. We're talking big fat whoppers like "I am the Doctor" in Open 122 when he was vanilla town. Which resulted in the actual Doctor coming out to counter-claim him, and him getting lynched. He continued to call the actual Doctor a liar right up until his death.

Starbuck - dont like this guy. Agreeing with rolf, charter and mike about ogb. Then, he has a weird stance regarding Mufasa. First he is quikcly to put Mufasa in the town territory. Too much for my taste.

You seem really quick to jump on my bandwagon. Rather than just asking me the question below. Are you trying to protect yourself and your scum buddies populartajo and Mufasa?

Can you elaborate on "trying to set up the town for the mafia"?

It seems like one of two things.

1. Either he himself is Mafia and is just riling up all of us town, which he's doing rather well

2. Or he is what he says he is and just completely screwed us over because he doesn't care.


Either way, he's a target. He's either a Mafia target because he's not one of them or he's our target because he's not one of us (or is just completely anti-town). I'd rather be rid of someone causing such a ruckus for the town cause. Some others are getting better reads on other people than I am.

So I decided to unvote and wait and see what happens before I put my vote in again because obviously putting your vote in on one person and leaving it on one person while having valid reasons means you are complete SCUM according to you.

I am right with you about Mufasa and OGB. I couldn't give a damn if either one was lynched/vigged/killed, so we could continue on without their distractions (and now non play).

I jumped off for now because of what I stated earlier. It seems like right now it doesn't matter what type of action I take because it will all be labeled scum, even though I'm NOT.


This statement you made is what I have been trying to say all along (you just did it better):

We aren't lynching Mufasa because he has the best chance of being scum. We're lynching him because he is definately lying, it will be easy to catch scum using his lynch, he displays no interest in scumhunting, and I see him as a huge detriment to town. The fact that he could be scum (a fair chance) is just gravy.

So you are for voting off unhelpful people even if they are town? I can sort of understand that, especially on day one.
Can you explain what you mean with "riling up all of us town"?

I would rather mislynch someone who we know is just going to keep distracting us from finding Mafia rather than take a shot in the dark (at least on day 1) until we have some confirmations.

I have been suspicious of both. As I said up farther in this post, neither is being very helpful and they are detracting from our scum hunt.
