Agreed. i really don't like hohum's stance on not using the items, or Lamont's backing of it. do you know how much harder we could be making this game for ourselves? and i agree that we should do this randomly, but if the randomly chosen person does not want to do it, then they don't have to.

I agree with amished. If it is random or nothing, which it does appear to be, we have a larger chance of hitting town. I am now convinced that it has a negative effect.

If it is random or nothing, which it does appear to be, we have a larger chance of hitting town. I am now convinced that it has a negative effect.

It most certainly is not. No-lynching NEVER converts a player to pro-mafi/neutral (which is worse than outright death).

Lynching is a necessity in order to win the game. I am yet to see a good argument that these are, or even that using them randomly will help us more than it will hurt us.

I'm also calling out URoEveryone. Post something substantial. I realize you *had* problems with your computer/whatever, but the 20 hours that you said you'd have something has gone about 20 hours ago.

Xtoxm: Lynching D1 is nothing like giving a random person a random effect. Votes pile on due to inactivity, scummy behavior, whatever. A random person getting the decanter behaves nothing like a lynch. What connection do you have between not giving a random person a random effect and not lynching anybody?

Amished is probably scum. I've seen him as town, and I don't see him acting like this as town. He's a good player, and it's obvious wasting items will be to the town's detriment. Only scum want items going to waste.

Picking someone/having a volunteer would be better, but a random is fine. We need to find out what it's going to do. This is the FIRST ITEM, on DAY ONE.
