I'm pretty sure empking is the last mason, but I'd like confirmation.

That's probably correct, and suggests non-random role distribution (seriously, a Stephoscope, MafiaSSK and Empking mason group in a Lynch-All-Lurkers game???)

i doubt yos2 would non randomly distribute roles. its just the fates playing a practical joke. is stephoscope traditionally a hardcore lurker too? he seems fine this game.

If you're using my very first game here as meta on me, that's a little unfair--I had absolutely no idea what the hell to do in that game

I just remember DGB used her ability on him in Prisoner's Dilemma because he was lurking (not sure if that's the game you're referring to Steph) which ended up killing him as scum.

Yeah, that was my first game, and I was way over my head. After that I joined literally the longest newbie game ever, and after that experience I was fine :)

Nuwen failing to defend against any of my points and failing to claim, and pointlessly arguing against outing the last mason = good lynch.

Xylthixlm wrote: I'm a little surprised nuwen doesn't consider the possibility that the masons are really mafia even while she speculates about them being cult. Presumably because she's mafia and knows they aren't.

(if they are cult I'd say knowing another member would help town not just mafia. Nuwen's attempt to cast suspicion on that basis fails.)

As with any other game where no dead players have come up cult... there is probably not a cult.

Anyone floating this idea is probably scum. Cult is a red herring and a distraction until proven otherwise.

For posterity, should I be dead tomorrow, I think Xyl also mentioned cult, althought it might have been in response to other players bringing it up.

Nuwen said she was getting stitches put in, you bunch of fuckers. I ripped the webbing between my fingers yesterday while using a switchblade as a corkscrew. Whoops.

I'm vanilla. Enjoy your lylo, unfortunately.

Posthumous wagon analysis: Ort's hammer and Xyl's assurance that "no claim will prevent this lynch" are terrible. Ort didn't wait for the claim. Xyl was preemptively limiting the amount of backpedaling possible from this mislynch.

My argument about the mason fishing isn't pointless: lynch one of Elvis, Xyl, and Rofl next please. If the mason group is all town, one of those buggers is all town. If all of the masons are scum, look for whomever derailed the MafiaSSK lynch and turned it into a Nuwen lynch.

I'd also like to point out that unless almost all other living town players are power roles right now, Tajo's tracker claim is looking less and less likely.

And on a shallow, vindictive note: I never, ever, ever want to play another game with Rofl. His play gives the entire game a clique dynamic that's hit or miss in its effectiveness as a town tool. Independent thought, please and thanks. It's frustrating to have the crew of OMGTOWN crush down another town player for having lucid (but contrary) analysis of the game.

Because there are probably between 2-4 scum currently alive. One mislynch plus one nightkill -> max 4 scum alive out of 9 players -> lylo in a worst case scenario, which one should always assume. Quit wasting mislynches.

This is retroactive justification. "Your claim would not have prevented my hammer anyway" != good reason to hammer; it's explanation after the fact.
