Newbie 785 - Game Over

Sorry, but my lack of chance to be seriously active is real. I have 0% chance of having access to a computer at school, I'm too busy in the morning to get on, and my older brother plays his stupid MMORPG way too much (from about the time he gets home to (today) 5:30 PM. I'll show you the game plus his account, if you want.) This is probably going to be my last game until school comes or until my bro becomes less obsessed Sad And interestingly enough, I don't have legit finals. I have something that resembles a yearly test, but it doesn't affect my grades, and it's insultingly easy (state test for middle school)

Cornellius is either lurking or flaking, if he is lurking that seems scummy to me

since we are having actual debate

now and discussion helps town and hurts mafia, so there's no reason for town to lurk.

The debate itself doesn't really help given we are discussing things in real life we have no idea about. What is of note is the reaction of others to the lurking accusation against him - be it defending, pushing harder, explaining further. If we flip Cornellius his scumbuddy may have subtly noted themselves, it could also give us some leads in reverse.

Out of Qwints, Giskard, Gadget and yourself, I find strongest town read on Giskard and yourself. Gadget and Qwints, not so much.

Everyone has a right to be suspicious of someone for whatever reason, so I dont really mind.

The only reason I really am suspecting you is your overassurance to us of your innocence, and your repeditive reiterations of the possibility of a mislynch if we vote for you.

All we are left with is a WIFOM Situation, taking your warnings and backing off will leave us with keeping a genuine townie (Hopefully a good PowerRole, too, like doctor) Or a very good scum. Either way, it still wouldnt protect you from night kill if you were targeted.

Taking them the other way can mean Mislynch or a direct hit at what we are looking for. In the end, It just confuses me, and just makes me stay aimed at qwints.

We still have over 15 RL days untill the game day is up, and to Paraphrase Corp, evidence is paramount to finding the right man, and we still can afford some time.

We shouldnt really push for lynch untill at least Page 10

I wouldnt say 10 could be benchmark, but we need a real kicker before something causes a good enough Majority vote.

That makes me think that, he advice the mod his intention of lurking, otherwise, why mod hasn't taken correctives about it?. If you enter to a Mafia game, and say that you'll can not post anything...what's the point? why you joined in first place?

Totally agree. He's due a prod so we'll either have him back in no time or a replacement in slightly longer. It's a pain - but we will have to deal with it. No biggie - at worst he is scum and there is still another one to spend out time catching while we wait.

Reading the questions pushed towards me, The Corporation is making logical steps towards questioning me. You yourself are paying attention to not just me but also Toledo (I think) and keeping a wide pan of attention on the players in this game.

Qwints has earned my suspicion due to obvious reason, Gadgets posts came about only after The Corporation began questioning me, not only this but there arent really any good questions coming from him that I can remember. Altogether, hes more likely opportunistic scum than anyone else to me.

I've been pretty hungover all day so sorry for not looking back on the game for more detail, I just remember thinking these things last night when I answered the question.

Ah but the case against me so far is that I reacted defensively. Problem is of course I look defensive when questions are coming at me from more than one person, its inevitable to fall into that position.
Must note, the tone of your post makes me think you know I have a pro-town role and am close to a mislynch.

I think we're focusing too much on a single player at this point, honestly Phily strikes me as an honest, albi aggressive townie. I would really like to hear some posts from Cornellius, don't think we should let a lurker skate by with no questioning or if he's being replaced it would be good to know. In any case,

On a re-read I'd like to come back to this. Regardless of Phily's guilt or innocence (tbh I fall on the over-aggressive townie side at the moment) there still is a good chance that there is a mafioso being one of the low posters.

I guess Alfredo and Toledo fall best into that catagory, although to an extent falko and qwints have dropped off in the past few days. After Alfredo has chimed in do you still have him as the favourite there?

The general thing I've seen in your posts is your timing is cosistently backing up other questions, orbiting around their tone but putting questions out to me in a less direct manor. Its made me slightly suspicious of you but its looking more like a general playstyle than a scum playstyle.

I find it really odd Qwints just dropped off the map about the time Phily started edging that way more heavily in his posts. I don't really know about Falko, the sudden lack of activity just throws opinions off right now, though it'll make voting easier in the later days.
