First off, I'm not the doc.
Second, there are votes all over the place.
Why do you think it's a very possible townie vs. townie?Cojin wrote:Now in the recent conversation have it being a very possible Town vs town.
Is there any reason you're voting me besides me not talking, which isn't a scumtell?
I'm not sure what to think of the doc claim. Mordy didn't mention a roleblock, but there has yet to be a cc."Platypus_Dude: I thought you played well throughout." - Incognito-

Actually it isn't. If someone is lurking more than they usually do, it is, but some people on this site are known to have a lurky playstyle.Cojin wrote:Lurking is a scumtell.
Why did you unvote me after I called you out? You even defended your argument, by saying what I was doing was a scumtell."Platypus_Dude: I thought you played well throughout." - Incognito-

Also not the doc.
Archaist, Delathi what say ye? Claim Doc or not doc?
I think that a real doc should counterclaim a doc claim, because if he doesn't, town might not trust him when he does come out.
If he comes out, the town now knows one of them is scum.
In our situation, it would mean we could lynch one today and the other tomorrow, and be sure of hitting scum, like Korlash said.
So far Mordy's explanations mostly seem alright. Can you reply to my 474, though?
Conji, however, still seems to be very accusative for someone who just outed a doc (possibly).
FoS: Conji
I was overlooking Mikey's hammer due to his very apparent newbishness, and Wolf's previous vanilla claim, but your "clever game" comment seems strange.-

Are you implying that I or someone else are lying?Korlash wrote:No, but oddly enough when I say it I'm not lying...
I am not the doctor.Phelan wrote:Archaist, Delathi what say ye? Claim Doc or not doc?
Not necessarily. Both or neither could be scum. A townie who strongly suspects MordyS could fake claim doctor to get him lynched, or scum who wanted his partner dead for some reason could fake counter claim. Unlikely scenarios, but possible.Phelan wrote:If he comes out, the town now knows one of them is scum.-

I think I can try. I don't think I shouldn't try to uncover Mafia out of fear that it'll make a Townie look suspicious. We have to lynch the Mafia. All of the Town wins if we accomplish that, so that's our primary goal.Phelan wrote:As for your question: Depends on the situation. Can the people who aren't suspicious of Wolf/Mikey/Cojin explain to me why? Not only does that bit seem the most suspicious to me, but all three players have been immediately suspicious. (Wolf dodging questions, giving vague claims. Mikey quickly hammering a Townie without any explanation and then begging for forgiveness afterward. Cojin making his first move putting someone at L-1, again with barely any explanation.) There must be some reason why he isn't triggering any of your scum radars. Can you please tell me why? Does it just seem too obvious to be true?1-1: Town

You think that just because a wagon hasn't formed the rest of us don't find him suspicious? He has done a lot to get suspicion on him, that doesn't mean we are somehow forced to quickly wagon him.
If you are scum you are. And I'm not sure you're not!Arch wrote:Are you implying that I or someone else are lying? It's not my job to be right, it's my job to be convincing.

I'm just curious why not. It seems to me that I was wagon'd on far less suspicious grounds.Korlash wrote:You think that just because a wagon hasn't formed the rest of us don't find him suspicious? In your opinion sure. But even you have to admit you're biased when it comes to that subject.
I will say that a lot of the suspicion that would and should have gone to him earlier was taken by you with the way you attacked him. Take for instance his hammer. All the pressure he should have recieved due to his quick hammer was robbed by you for pushing his "hammer of a townie" like it meant anything. Attacking someone for the wrong reason or in a bad way will always have negative effects on how much pressure that person recieves from others. It's not my job to be right, it's my job to be convincing.

As there are no counterclaims, now either MordyS is the doc, or a Maf with a free pass. If he's the doc, and he protected Porkens, then at least we now know more about the setup. And I agree with Korlash, the cop should stay hidden.
Ok, thanks.MordyS wrote:

The thing is, you avoided a question again. First you avoid it by asking a question about my question, and now you answer only part of my post. This is the third time I'm asking it:

This is a totally bizarre statement, Phelan. So it's not cool to try to trick anyone into giving anything away because everyone is a possible townie? Everyone here is also a possible scum.Phelan wrote:So you were trying to manipulate a possible townie?
I'll clarify the question:Were you trying to manipulate a possible townie into voting for the same person as you?
I'd appreciate an answer this time, instead of another question.
As for your question: Depends on the situation. If you can find a way to trick scum that won't also make a townie more suspicious, then yes, it's cool. I don't think I can do this yet, however. Can you?
As for Cojin, I'm suspicious of him. I wasn't nearly as suspicious of Mickey and Wolf as I am of him.-

Unfortunitly the impact of him being hammered if he was townie would be townie loss, if the scum played there cards someone else would be NK and they would keep me alive due to the overwhelming suspicion placed on me. so I would by lynched quickly on a LoR, and when you discover it was yet another misslynch the mafia nk another townie and its a clear cut victory for them.
What i got for how it played out was suprising, I did not expect a claim because i was tunnel visioned on him being scum as he is on me. I was expecting that the other scum may have had him voted on for a bus and to drop his vote on him, raising suspicion on him. Or i suspected him to stay at L1 for a while, or giving him a very pressured chance to prove scum or townie.
As for nowFOS PlatypusI am very uncomfortable with his lurking where he only speaks when he is challanged.-

I don't really understand what you're asking. EVERYONE is a possible townie at the moment. So yes, I suppose that's what I was trying to do, for the reasons I outlined earlier. But he is also a possible scum. So I don't really understand what you're trying to get at.Phelan wrote:Were you trying to manipulate a possible townie into voting for the same person as you?
(And your insistence on phrasing the question this way is a lot like asking, "When did you stop hitting your wife?" There's an assumption in the way you ask the question and every time I try to address that assumption, you accuse me of dodging the question.)1-1: Town
