Newbie mistake #42: breadcrumbing doctor heavily.
Tajo wrote:Why would Antihero targetted me night one?
I don't see into the mind of my predecessor. I can guess.
Elvis wrote:If you're a doc, then that sucks.
Yes. It does suck. When you think you've posted when you haven't, and accidentally reach 72, Yea, "That Sucks" doesn't cover it nearly that well.
We have to lynch you no matter what now.
Not really. There's a simple solution:

If there are two kills, I'm scum.

If there is only one, then I'm not.
But, I would like to point out that you replaced AH on D2
I thought it was day three. But a quick check in my inbox confirms you're right.
AH targetted Tajo before.

Remember when I first posted today?
I said that I informed the mod that I was going to be away from at least Friday and Saturday night.
That's when I sent in my night action.
And figuring AH had a reason, I protected Tajo again.
which means the night choice should have been yours last night, but you said AH targetted tajo both nights. Not possible since you were the player at the time of N2.
I've got a terrible memory.
I half-thought in 735 that *I* had sent in no night action as the cop (due to me being the cop in 742, and replacing in day one), before I remembered that I replaced in day two, not day one. I caught the mistake before posting, though.
I'm back! Well, kind-of.

Alright, calculate this:

We keep on doing scum hunting instead of pursuing me.

One kill every night.

When two night-kills would win the game for them, but one would not, (before a mislynch that would cause us to lose) I'll volunteer to be lynched. I'm fairly certain that isn't today, right now. 'Specially not with a double day.

Math appreciated on the matter--I'm, well, not the best mathematician in the world.

Assume six scum, the max I can see in this game. 1/3rd of the players. With one dead. Leaving five.

12 alive.
---

...Never mind. I can do the math right now. If there are six starting scum, with one dead, this would be our final day with two mislynches.

If you are 100% confident that your second lynch today would hit scum, and I believe in the lynch hitting scum as well, then I would be willing to die.

The only way that this wouldn't be true is if there are less than six starting scum.

Any volunteers for that kind of information? :P

I would need a remarkably high confidence in your townieness for that to be a better plan than lynching you right now.

Clarification:
If people state who they think would be the scum when I flip town, and I believe that they themselves are scum, then I would be willing to die first.

However, I would rather not do so.

I want to win.
I want the town to win.

I want to use my abilities to scum hunt until the very last moment.

I know my death would be one mislynch. Leaving, worst case scenario, one lynch left.
I made a mistake, and if I am to pay for it, this is the only 100% guaranteed time that I can without us losing.

That's the difference in votes, right now.

If people think I am pro-town, then they won't lynch me. They're correct; we have two shots at hitting scum instead of one, and have my insight as well.

If they do not think I am, then they will try to lynch me. They're either wrong, or scum (no false dilemma, as I know I'm town, and that those are the only two options) who've found an easy lynch, and leaving us in lynch-or-lose with only one lynch left in the day.

Let's put it this way: your going over the 72 hours line shifts your burden from "preponderance of the evidence" to "guilty until proven innocent".

Personally, I think you're moderately scummy. Not the scummiest player, but not particularly protown.

Given that, and the fact that you are a major threat to the town if we don't lynch you and you turn out to be scum, I believe you must die.

Xyl wrote:Let's put it this way: your going over the 72 hours line shifts your burden from "preponderance of the evidence" to "guilty until proven innocent".
What I've got against me:

Going over 72 hours. (Mind you, I've gotten two prods in less than 24 hours, and should probably have gotten 4.)

Besides that, nothing I know of.

What I've got in my defense:
1: My explanation,
2: My claim,
3: My word that I am who I say I am.

There's nothing more I can do to defend myself than what I've already put forward, unless someone wants to add an actual case besides 72 hours.
Personally, I think you're moderately scummy.
Besides 72, I'd love to know why. Then I can defend against those attacks.
Voting without reasoning-->Scummy.
Voting on others' reasoning-->Scummy.
Voting off of one reason nobody else gives, or the same reason as another if it is a very good reason-->Slightly scummy, but not much.
Voting with a full case, including the major point already known-->Pro-town.
Not the scummiest player, but not particularly protown.
Without having read the full game, I haven't had the chance to gather my thoughts particularly well. Hence, why I'm less likely to appear pro-town to others. From the last few pages, I've got a few suspects, but more research would be required to be certain of it.
Given that, and the fact that you are a major threat to the town if we don't lynch you and you turn out to be scum, I believe you must die.
This would be true, if I were scum.
I'm not.
I'm the doctor, whether people believe it or not.
So instead of being a threat to the town, I'm one of our greatest assets. Assuming we lynch scum today, I'll probably be dead by tomorrow, or roleblocked.

Thoughts for everyone to answer:

1: Who do you think is scum?

2: Why?

3: If you think I am scum, why?

4: If you believe that I am scum, who do you see as my partners?
4.1: Is it due to interactions, or individual scumminess?

5: If you don't think I am scum, is your current picks due to interactions, or individual scumminess?

6: What are your thoughts on other players?
6.1: Pro-town?
6.2: Scummy?

7: What do you think of me asking questions now, when put under pressure?

8: Why?
