I'd go this way too. But I guess after dealing a few other trolls in my other game, the best way to deal with it is to ignore (saves us a lot of pointless conversations on random things and the possible cussing), then lynch that person if there's no other viable option, or if it will be informative.

Ignoring the troll, gives the troll the time to calm down/get bored/get replaced. Any of which actually helps us.

camn wrote:totally. Scum all know 2 people who aren't Nasubi, too.
This statement worries me.
It can be interpreted two ways:

1. Scum know their buddies, and there is three of them.
2. Scum are working alone, but they know two other people who are innocent.

(Or maybe a combination of A and B, but that's unfair to one side)

Anyway, that level of specificity makes me think you know something related to how scum are operating in this game.
Nevermind. Post 188 explains it.

============================

Also, I am bothered by the Sajin wagon on Page 6. It went too fast, I don't know if it was all a joke or what but Zwet and Millar were confused, apparently both were expecting Sajin would be lynched.

============================

That same wagon happened just after the 142/145 controversial statement by Camn (see above).

============================

However, I won't blame Sajin for thinking that Camn could be scum after that statement. (see above) I assumed it like that until I read 188. I'm going to reread page 8 onwards tomorrow.

could be different, just because he seems calmer and less aggressive. Or maybe it's just because I haven't been around long enough to "be with" Zwet for this game.

Ok will be reading now. Some thoughts though. (Addressing Claus's 254)

I think a good way to pursue this for me is to figure out who is NOT Nasubi. If Millar13 is Nasubi, he's the worst town player ever and we have been sabotaged. If I can't figure something out, I'll vote Millar.

I can't blame Farside/Sajin/elvis for suspecting Camn on his quote. Again, the way I initially read it hinted that he knew how scum operated/is operating in this game.

The exchange in Page 11 is hurting my head. I understand the suspicion on Camn, but I can't get my mind around Elvis suspecting Sajin on suspecting Camn. (Please explain this again, Elvis.)

On 3 scum: I'd rather not speculate on the numbers right now, just because I failed to note that games like this could have an SK (I totally forgot that angle in my last theme game). I'd rather look for people who are vote jumping or any other singular scum tell. That's at least for now.

I have my eye on Miller, Zwet and Seraphim for the vote hopping.

I want to hear more from Llama.

If you see a PR tell, I think the best way to deal with it is to keep it to yourself, and use it to eliminate or cross-check suspects. Crying loud about it is only useful when somebody is about to get lynched and THEY claim, hence you support him/her on that or counterclaim it.

Also, why did you vote sajin later after the fake hammer? Do you think he's scum? If so, why fake the hammer?
You are forgetting one thing here: Millar could be town, he faked the hammer to get info (from what I understand on how the gambit works) on Millar's buddies or whatever, and he confirmed that Sajin could be scum. In your question, you seem to be implying that Millar faked the hammer to save somebody whom he thought was scummy.

I mean I have no problem with scum hunting but what this only achieves is it encourages us to not try to look "could he be Nasubi" angle when we do our lynches. Which makes us less careful with who we lynch.

DGB is not saying we don't scum hunt. DGB is saying, if we can, we should also be careful of not lynching Nasubi. (Because we don't even know whether the "production team" would "move Nasubi out" when he is about to/going to get lynched, is true)

It seems the killers are going to try wiping you out first, then they can move on to their real prize.
Here. The mafia is trying to wipe us out first (Get the majority of the town). This leads me to believe that we are simply playing a normal mafia game with fanciful flavor and specialized roles, and not a game with a completely different strategy as DGB's want to imply.

Pseudo-Discussing this "different strategy", with half words, without really talking about it, is a distraction from scumhunting, and really scummy from DGB.
Also, you should also not forget the other Mod note. Nasubi is in this game! I think that is what you have been missing in your POV. Right now we know that Nasubi "has not won anything" for the past two days. And knowing that some of us still have roles that can feed Nasubi, we also have to squeeze in some strategy on how to:

1. Get the food to Nasubi
2. Not lynching Nasubi
3. Prevent a Nasubi NK

For me those are the additional things in play in this game that (unfortunately) we cannot discuss directly in the open. But of course, we can still discuss them indirectly to further narrow it down for all of us.

You, on the other hand, is trying to make us ignore this part of the game.

Read the flavor again.

Claus wrote: And about NK, just think about the following:
There WAS a night 0. If we would lose the game by having nasubi NK'ed, scum would have a higher than 10% chance of winning the game outright on night zero. Even if nasubi was somehow immune to NK's on night 0. The lack of an NK would tell the scum that they had hit gold, and they would simply try it again on N1. So no, I'm pretty confident in saying that NK'ing the nasubi player will NOT end the game.
I have a problem with this. If Nasubi is unNKable, then why hasn't Nasubi claimed? There is something else here that we don't know and we still have to keep that possibility on the table. I won't take the risk of just forgoing the possibility that one NK can lead to very serious consequences. We have to save Nasubi.
Claus wrote: That is the thing, though, tenchi: By discussing but not really discussing this things, the town is not scumhunting. No one is analyzing voting patterns, re-reading the thread for warrantless bandwagon, or making questions about the vote. Everyone is just worried about finding nasubi without saying it too loud.
Ok I get your point. But nobody is stopping you from doing that. What I'm telling you is that DGBs approach complements scum hunting in general. Also, I am suspicious of you shooting down the idea of not thinking about Nasubi in terms of how we talk and how we lynch.
Claus wrote: Who do you think is scum? Why? These are the questions I think the town should be discussing now, and no one really is. This will cost us the game, not the amount of rampant nasubi speculation.

I have browsed through the thread, some thoughts:

1. I do have an idea what DGB is talking about but I want her to elaborate. Is it related to Llama's role?
2. However, I do NOT know who Nasubi is.
3. Seraphim's claim may be legit. I'm quite surprised nobody has counterclaimed him.

Oh yeah, I don't support a massclaim, especially that we have a (possibly) outed Nasubi.

Massclaiming only narrows the doctor list down, if we even have one, since if Seraphim IS Nasubi, that will be the only shot of us surviving next round. Especially that we have a couple of players that we know are food givers. At this point, scum would not care about the claimed food givers. Since we have at least two (dunno, Zwet and Elvis?), I think we are sure that we will make it to the next round. They are probably looking into lynching "vanillas/unclaimed" people to hopefully kill a doctor off to make sure a Nasubi NK will happen.

On the chance that the real Nasubi is still somewhere (AKA. Seraphim is lying, lying scum), not counter-claiming, I still think we shouldn't claim to protect Nasubi's identity.

I'll go to my newbie game first then come back here. I will post later or tomorrow.

I had to leave for the better good of my team. I had no time to present a good countercase on the others when suspicion was cast on me AND when Seraphim has claimed. I was hoping a replacement would come in and in my experience, replacements somewhat provide an illusion of a clean slate.

Elvis and Farside were awesome scum teammates. :) Thanks for pushing the win.
