Currently reading and up to page 15. Nice to see some familiar faces. I have a really bad feeling about ABR. He seems to be manipulating. And you're only manipulating if you're scum, otherwise you just have to argue and investigate.

Also, while I understand the point that spreading hurt around is bad, I don't think the 'voting' stuff works. Basically because in a real game it's hard enough to get a majority, let alone in this game where 'voting' isn't the main mechanic, and we can't get consensus on a structural way to approach this game already. Also, we shouldn't treat it as a regular game because scum can talk all the time here and adjust and discuss their behavior to what happens in game. (and there's the subjective point I don't like voting because I think the hurt/heal mechanic deserves to develop on its own, rather than just be subjected to the standard voting mechanic).

Anyway, hope to read the rest of the thread soon and come back with more.

I don't think all the Ophanim need to claim... but it will be fairly obvious to the scum who they are anyways: they're the people not hurting or healing anyone. And the normal drawback of outing power roles, that they will be nightkilled, doesn't really apply; scum will have to burn 2 weeks worth of accumulated rage to kill an Ophan from full+1 HP, and stand a chance of getting caught by another Ophan while doing so.

Any Ophan who finds himself under fire should almost certainly claim before he gets down to the point where the scum can easily finish him off.

3. I was an Ophan (aka tracker) in the last game and trust me it was very hard to spot any action, since the only possible actions you could get is another Ophan watching someone or some random scum using rage points. There could possibly be a Fallen Ophan in this game, too. You know that you cant hurt/heal after you use your ability, so dont be too obvious.

Actually... in light of the recent discussion I have the feeling WaltWishbone is an Ophan. That puts his actions in a slightly better light, although it still doesn't excuse his lack of interaction.

This gets the award for dumbest post of the entire fucking game.

Daytalking scum with no nightkill. I'm pretty sure they would have noticed by now anyways, so it's better to get it out there for the town.

I hadn't noticed until you said something, I wouldn't be surprised if the scum were in the same boat. The blatancy makes doubt your post was scum motivated, though.

I was sorely tempted to use this cooldown to heal one other players with damage, but I'm not convinced about the two players with 3 damage last tally. 2 Damage isn't really a danger zone in my opinion though...

I'm going to wait for a Flay tally though and see if there was any secret damage before hurting Shinnen though.
