To be fair, this argument is a bit retroactive, being made with knowledge you have now that Zero is town. (Obviously I haven't argued it since, because the town reveal of Zero made the argument silly.)

Still it's kind of hard to argue that it's scummy when I made it before knowing whether or not Zero was scum.

You mentioned my turn around. Up to that point, I was starting a fourth game and let two of my games fall down and focused entirely on the other two. Then, I was called out, reread this game (Giving it the attention it deserved) and had my "turn around" as you call it. I think that while your points on Pablo do stand that he may have a reasonable excuse, laziness, and we should at least give him the benefit of the doubt and give him the chance to post meaningful content or explain his play. Otherwise, your points stand (and they might even after he stops being lazy) and we lynch him.

As for Spring:

Honestly, I am pissed off that night lasted two weeks, and this modkill announcement is something that has brought me very close to just flat out asking for replacement from this game myself. (But the modkill threat guarentees that doing such a thing would result in me being modkilled...)

Frankly, to keep the game in night for two weeks, increasing the chance of MORE people flaking, and then to re-open the game and threaten modkills on everyone who hasn't posted by Monday is flat out offensive.

She seems to be up for a kill, no matter who it is at times, and like myself, ends up on the frustrated side of things and just wants to end things. While hypocritical on my part, I’m fully aware of what I’ve done wrong this game and have changed my style accordingly (go ahead and do some meta-ing if you’d like), and spring seems just as guilty and trying to cover her tracks.

… before reading through today’s posts again. Still the point stands that killing town is terrible no matter what. I know, I know, but I’m going to fall behind the newbie-defense for my earlier actions. After my first newbie game, this was game #2 for me.

And if we want to look at the nightkill, aside from zwet’s inane ramblings (Jesus Christ, did I really side with him earlier in the game?!), Nuwen was a solid, logical player that voted for spring right at the beginning of day 2 (before zwet ruined everything) and ended up dead on night 2.

And to say something of playstyles in that “answer a question with a question” exchange she had going earlier that helped absolutely nothing and now this little hissy-fit with the mod on the state of the game. Speculation: Perhaps a partner is lurking that you don’t want modkilled? Also, day 2 was quite unspectacular for her on the scum-hunting side of things (and most of the town, really) in that she took the easy way out for zwet getting lynched without so much as a second thought. (See also: BB, Pablo, and Ecto). We still have a ways to go to salvage this game.

Right now, my gut feeling is that Spring and Ecto/Setael are scum.

I was in the process of re-reading the game to see if the evidence fit my feeling.

Spring quickly tried to turn the game into a lurker hunt and that's why I voted her. Basically, her action was a trigger for my vote.

Now I just have to motivate myself to read the game and see if it confirms or changes my gut feeling.
