Ok I'm confused now with two doc claims in the air. Especially with the fact that Jebus protected Spring and there was NO nightkill today. And I'd figure that scum would target Spring if she was town. I saw absolutely no reason for a (scum) Spring to counter another (scum) Budja and still don't see this as a viable strategy. The third claim by Jebus only muddies things up further for I see no reason for Jebus to counter either.

If either of you is town and fake claiming admit to it now because I see no reason to believe that both of you can possibly be town.

FHQ, I'd like to know for sure what your stance is on Red. Is he scummy or not to you? Is he in your top suspects still after Don's watcher claim?

I still find Red a bit scummy, but the watcher claim has put these suspicious somewhat on the backburner. I mean, the results doesn't exonerate him, but I'd feel he could be kept around a bit longer.

The whole Spring/sekinj discussion is exhausting. I'm only in the middle of reading it, but my advice to sekinj is to drop it. Spring is proving her own point by making me want to vote her everytime she posts something, even though she's ALMOST confirmed town. Hence her lurking is a good thing. It's making me less inclined to vote her off.

Jebus' protection claim doesn't add up though. I heavily doubt Spring would be scum target number 1. In fact, if his claim is correct, why would he protect someone who counterclaimed a role he KNOWS is false. This makes no sense.

I gave it a 20% chance, and thought it a decent move because of the possibility of a scum no-kill.

And for now, I just feel like we need to go somewhere now, and I'd already messed up, so I claimed. I do think DO knew ahead of time that Spring was not a doc, he was the one who suggested that scum did that gambit.

I also highly doubt the idea of two doctors, I've never seen it done, and the terribleness for mafia as the amount of doctors rises also rises exponentially.

lynx: no, my rereading has been interrupted on quite a regular basis both with rl and with trying to keep up with the speed at which this thread is moving. i do not agree completely with your case on fhq. as for sekinj: no, not much more to base the vote off, mainly dropped in for pressure based on their posting at the time.

good golly, two docs... never seen a setup with two docs. as for my take on why sl witheld information: i thought maybe she could self protect. this info would best be kept under wraps. i see little reason for scum not to target her night 1. if i had understood my role i would have watched her.

not sure who to believe with the doc thing, though jebus letting the fakeclaim ride is somewhat suspicious, i can also see reason behind all of this. unfortunately any explanation seems to be an experiment in convoluted thought. i.e. sl(jebus) is town, lying to keep scum confused as to who the real doctor is.

bottom line: i agree with the current ideas about DO and would be comfortable lynching depending on how the replacement responds. chiming in to lynch an uncounterclaimed doc after an apparent failed nightkill and then dissappearing without further thought pings scummy to me. i am still trying to determine if "replacing" is used as a viable scum strategy on this site. i have noticed a trend of more scum replacements than town.

question for all: is there a way to use my ability to confirm one or both of our alleged two doctors?

First, this is the second time you address me in derisive and unproductive manner. Now if you have criticism to make do it properly by explaining what it is that you reproach me. If you can that is.

Now, I have played in multiple docs game before. Large games aside, there is the Quack and Masons mini; and my own modded game currently has three doctor claims on the table. So the idea of more than one doc is not strange to me.

The idea behind multiple doc would to balance them so it can never create an un-winnable situation for scum. So it not impossible and only depends on the setup.

Something to be checked here, although PM's may be different:

1. On one hand it makes much more sense if a doc protected me from a kimm.

2. On the other, I totally don't understand the reasoning behind the whole 'I thought DO knew spring's alignment ahead of time' thing, even more so that she choose to act on it. I don't see anything that is confidence inspiring in DO's play.

Rhyme scheme for my PM is AABB. The first couplet matches with what you said, the second couple ends on words rhyming with "tie" or "fly". Specifically, the second line of the second couple is another word for 'the end of a persons life'.

I couldn't tell you the meter, though, my English poetry was never very strong :/
