1) The only way MR could be scum is if freeko is lying. In which case they'd BOTH be scum. They've BOTH had the opportunity to hammer me for the win, which they haven't done.

2) If only one of MR or freeko is scum, it has to be freeko (as charter said and I now agree with), unless there are some strange mechanics we're not understanding.

Today the target was Lowell. He was always a bit shifty if you looked at him closely, always a bit different then the rest of you. It was only fitting that he was part of the force working to destroy the town that you had all come to love. Another length of rope and another branch of that one tree that is really paying off, and Lowell was quickly dispatched.

Thoughts race in your head as you lie trying to sleep. The events of the past four days run together, the accusations, the votes and the memories of those who had fallen in an attempt to better the town. As you list off to sleep, thoughts of what the new day will hold for you still dance in the back of your mind.

Day dawns for three of you. It becomes painfully obvious who is missing soon, and a search of their house gives you a newfound will to bring the town back to its previous state.

Final Scene Coming

Working together as a pair, charter and tubby hoisted freeko up into the three that had helped take the lives of so many before him. Cries of his innocence, and protests that he was really working for the town, following people around at night ignored. This soon was stifled by the last of the rope in the town, and not too long afterwords, even the slight twitch of freekos feet stopped.

A cold breeze blew through the town as charter and tubby looked at eachother, and started to walk towards freekos house to settle this once and for all. On the way though, charter couldnt help but notice a slight grin that seemed to be forming on tubbys face. Putting it out of his mind he forced open the door to freekos house.

At first a search of the house did not reveal too much about freeko. There was that copy of The Godfather, but that was a really good movie, perfectly acceptable for anyone to own. A few hunting trophies in the next room, illuminated by a single light that flickered on and off. During one of the flashes, Charter again could swear he saw a smile on tubbys face, maybe it was just all the stress from the past few days finally catching up with him.

The final room of the house was opened, and inside was quite a sight to be seen


















binoculars, magnifine glasses, and even a few small GPS devices, its looks like freeko was telling the truth the whole time, he really was following people around at night. Wandering around the room, desperately searching for something to connect freeko to the crimes, charter suddenly realized that tubby wasnt with him anymore. It was time to make a break for it.

Outside it was starting to rain lightly as charter ran through the streets, not sure where to go but knowing that he had to run somewhere. He had hid from people in the past, maybe, just maybe he could do it again. Reaching the center of town, he stopped to catch his breath for a little. The wind causing the victims of the tree to sway slightly, he cursed under his breath, then turned to see tubby walking towards him. This time the smile was obvious.





















Backing away towards the tree, charter eventually stopped moving, resigned to his fate.

Tubby however didnt stop walking when he reached charter, but walked up to freeko. Still smiling, he reached into freekos pocket and pulled out his wallet that he tossed to charter.

Opening it up he saw freekos business card, and realized what tubby had been smiling about this whole time.
