Keeping Jesters around is what they want because a Jester is someone who won't participate seriously and won't drop a vote against them. Jesters want to look as anti-town as possible so they won't vote for anti-town players.

think its a bad idea to go after someone who's lied about someone the Mod could confirm easily. It would take a very smart scum player to figure acting so anti-town would make them look like they want to be lynched but then not get lynched because this too was obvious.

1. You're jumping the gun here. I'm protecting the vote thats there to lynch mafia. Not Jesters. You still havent convinced me as to why we should get rid of a Jester instead of scumhunting.

2. Fair enough, i'll take your words for it but is it possible a custom role has been created? Or maybe hes just acting very drunk? His actions dont completely indicate hes scum. With the theme of the game I'm now thinking hes more likely to be terribly drunk (perhaps Mod informed him he'd drank too much in a PM, no idea).

3. Its extremely blatant, and instant, that leads me to think such strange behaviour has some unique motive behind it. How could anyone make such an obvious mistake?

In my experience (in that I mean, what I have been told) is that Jester's are not in games unless the mod tells you there is a possibility there is a Jester. And the mod has said that there are no post restrictions. Why scum would be stupid enough to draw attention to themselves I don't understand though. And, how it is good play as a townie I don't understand either because it is distracting.
