You could probably guess that I think it's an excellent way to clarify/collaborate on making the setup Just So.

I'll stand by my statement that armlx's strategy is optimal for AITP, and furthermore that AITP isn't really Mafia. But I'm not in the certification group, so that's all I want to say here.

because the bus driver resolution may be confusing for the first time mods who are in the open queue.
I know I'm not a member of the group, but I agree here. One Bus Driver might be an allowable weirdness, but two increases the chances of screwing up night action resolution immensely, and I don't think it adds sufficiently to the game to warrant that in an Open Queue setup. Someone's personally designed-and-run game would be different, whether it was Open or not...

What do you think of this, then?
Original Newbie, Reduced
(day start)
2 Mafia Goons
Cop, one-shot
Doctor
3 Townies
Making both town power-roles one-shot seems like overkill, the Cop is really the breaking factor. Docs just don't succeed that often... It may or may not actually be suitable for Newbie Games, but it might work to bring the size/length of games down again.

Excellent idea. I think it doesn't really matter about the 'organization' of it, so long as somebody goes back later (or during, if they're feeling awesome) and tallies up what was played, outcomes, errors, etc.
If it's a day I can help, I'll come out of isolation to mod whatever is short on sample size.
