OK, so I have just been prodded after 4 days of not posting. tada!
And with this, I'll attempt to make a PBPA.
Disclaimer: I may fail. Please prove me wrong in every wrong point I make.
I'll start with my favorite buddy,ZEEnon
First, I'd like to acknowledge his change in writing style.
Second, I'd like to acknowledge his new avatar. I miss Pikachu anyway.
So...
Overdefensive, sure. Paranoid, a lil'. Likes to pressure people? Of course!
I still have not too many reads on him.
NextPorkensbuddy. First I have a question for you...
This is where you ask me about the supposed OMGUS vote.I would agree with you all about the OMGUS being "asked for" IFF he had had his vote on anyone prior to that. Since he saw fit to be voting for no one until i put pressure on him; scum.
Now, why would it be better if I had a vote on someone else first? o_o
... And that's not really pressure... is it...
excited about FoS's a lot. :S
OK, my turn.
Now, before I say anything, I'd just like to point out a coincidence:
Porkens has been on any bandwagon that existed... from image, to mine, to Xtox, to Moriar. Odd.
Also first anti-ZEE, then with ZEE on the Mor vote.
Starting with about post 145, his posting style seemed to change... And by 166 it, well, changed more I suppose. More aggressive?
WithZinandTurkeyI have no idea at all.
Xtox
... no reads at all. I still don't understand the case that was against him.
Mor...
Neat PBPA you have there.
image
I like him. He looks like a perfect townie to me. Ha.
LHNM
His avatar makes him look like scum.
However...
Still nothing.
On a scale of 1 to 100, 100 being pro townie.
Porkens- 47
ZEEnon- 48
image- 80.5
Everyone else - 50
And, I guess my vote stands. Not that it means much though...
I'm really not ready for a lynch yet. : |Trinka Trinka!-

Hello everyone, I'll be replacing IronTurkey. The name's Giuseppe, and I'll see if I can resuscitate this game a bit.
First of all, I love ZEE's prose. It certainly makes the read more interesting, and I can certainly hear the beat it has. I am displeased that he's dropped it over the last few posts, however. I wish he would return to it.
That said, I'll start with my scumlist, as I see it. The highest is most Scum likely, the lowest is most Town likely.
SCUM
zindionne- Less active than my predecessor, less useful.
LynchHimNotMe- Comments consistency on the stagnancy of the game, but does nothing besides random vote to fix it.
|
Xtomx- Irking, but not scummy.
Moriarty147- Not the best lynch. I'd much prefer Zin.
Image- No read, really.
Sironigous- No solid read.
|
ZEEnon- Active contributor who doesn't have a solid case against him. Defensiveness when on L-2 or L-1 isn't all that bad.
Porkens- Active contributor, striving for scum.
If I had to recommend a lynch to get the game moving, Zindionne would be my choice, hands down. Moriarty has put forth some effort to post lately, and at least had an analysis. Zin, not so much.
Vote ZindionneJust type Giu.-

In another game people took it so seriously that they brought me to L-1 for my writing style. I've decided to put their interests before my own in order to make them happy. They were really selfish. They told me it hurt their eyes, but this writing is really plain and boring to me.Giuseppe wrote:Unvote

Alas, that makes me
so infinitely sad.
If people are so
judgemental as to
lynch for the way you
write, than the town,
by all means,
deserves to lose.
An open mind is the key to victory, and one can't be open-minded if they go about impressing their own opinions on others.
So, thoughts on a Zin lynch, as opposed to a Mori lynch?Just type Giu.-

It's not so much a policy lynch as an alternative to lynching Mori, who put in at least some analysis. Zin has not so much going for him, and if deadline were to approach, we'd lose the least with his lynch if he comes up Town. Likewise, I feel LHNM would be an equally safe lynch, considering his sporadic, slightly hypocritical behavior.Just type Giu.-

Sorry, I didn't really that at your previous post.
Ultimately, yes I will be supporting his lynch. His stance and intentions are incredibly anti-town.
I still have some unease with Moriaty.
But I suppose, given what i've just said, there's no reason not to place my vote.
Vote ZindSmooth as silk when he's scum, and very much capable of running things from behind the scenes while appearing to be doing minimal effort. - Almost50

Mori has just now given content, yes, but only after getting wagoned to a very dangerous situation, and Image had stated his impatience. And then he manages to turn in a very short space of time, after being absent for a long stretch. He accuses others of lurking, yet he is more guilty of that crime than any. His comment about being almost certain scum if LHNM is scum is horrible. The way he added himself to wagon earlier was also horrible. I find most of his recent analysis questionable, and I fear he could be going for an easy mislynch on scummy newbie. Also, it is a common misconception among newer (pro-town) players that NL is productive on D1. I am as yet unsure if the same principle applies to scum, but it is at best null.Giuseppe wrote:It's not so much a policy lynch as an alternative to lynching Mori, who put in at least some analysis. Yeah, I can agree that, upon further inspection, Mori does have his/her *Female avatar with no gender listed? I do not like.* moments of certain scumminess, but I wouldn't go as far to say she *Mori's a girl now* is the most guilty lurker. Zind is equally guilty, in my opinion, minus the attempts at discussion.
I'm not defending Mori, for the record. Her lynch could be an easy third on my scale, as I don't organize players between the official dividing '|' for sake of flexibility in future analysis. I'd prioritize it as Zind, LHNM, and then Mori.
On the topic of No Lynch, don't get me started... No Lynch is an idea plague among idea plagues. However, I can answer your question: No Lynch is productive for scum in that it reduces their chances of death to 0, and that if the Town No Lynches every day, the Scum will win.
Could you clarify this, my mind's a bit broken now, and I don't get the grammar:
I am, however, glad to see you posting. I had a feeling your analysis would be worth something.Xtoxm wrote:And then he manages to turn in a very short space of timeJust type Giu.-

"And then he manages to turn up in a very short space of time"
Simple typo, apologies.
I'm aware of the NL productivity level. I was saying that it is a common misconception among newer players. Which it is.
I disagree. I do not feel Zind is lurking so much as simply being absent.Zind is equally guilty, in my opinion, minus the attempts at discussion.Smooth as silk when he's scum, and very much capable of running things from behind the scenes while appearing to be doing minimal effort. - Almost50

First off, hey Giuseppe!
Second off, ZEE, who's the guy in your avatar? You switched again. XD
Third,
Zin is lurking. I wouldn't mind a lynch on him, but I'd much rather him be prodded/replaced first before we lynch him.
I'd FoS him, but I really don't think those do much so..

Is lurking any different than being absent, when all is said and done? A player isn't here, and we cannot divine their motives. Zind is AWOL: lurker or absent, we've been given no indication of V/LA.
I could settle for an active replacement, I suppose, and then I'd shift my vote to LHNM. It's a reasonable thing to do. However, lacking that replacement, a pressure vote on a lurking member seems to be an effective thing in this game, based on how quickly Mori reappeared. Perhaps Zind will do the same?Just type Giu.-

There is a major difference between lurking and being absent. And Zind pretty much needs replacing.Smooth as silk when he's scum, and very much capable of running things from behind the scenes while appearing to be doing minimal effort. - Almost50

I like that logic. I need a read on someone.
