ok, here's a breakdown of our situation:

We have seven living town, four of which are scum, three vanilla.

That means the remaining villagers are more useful to the scum alive than dead

which means very pro-town play will be protected and awarded. The vanilla townies remaining cannot be removed at this point in the game or it will result in a double mafia KO: If all the townies die, scumteam A would essentially be facing even numbers (scumteam B's 2 players), fulfilling both win conditions...? Possibly? Regardless, it would mean I lose.

which means the town still has a good chance to win this if we wait for the blood and sweat out some minor lurking... heck, we could put someone at L-1 and wait for a scum to take the chance at gaining the upper hand and hammer... it's always worthwhile to make sure your enemy knows their options, so you can plan accordingly, right?

Scum: If you give us a mafia lynch today you'll have 100% chance to beat the other team. If you give us a townie, it stays at 50% and the longer you fight the closer to catching one of you we become. Make sure it's not your team.

thoughts?

Exactly right except for one thing. For the town to win both townies have to survive :?, the odds still don't look great.

Budja, are you aware this game has full daytalking privileges? Why would he coach me with thinly veiled messages when he could, ya know, coach me with totally and completely veiled messages?

pops: How did you come to be cognizant of that fact? It's possible it was by researching your own limitations for your role. Since all the masons are dead, you must be scum. just a random thought

Right now I very much want to lynch the most lurkiest player in the game. Who's taken the most time since their last post?

Just so everybody knows, I am perfectly willing to switch over to Budja since I think he's HR's partner, so for all intents and purposes the rest of you should treat him as if he's at L-1.

Wall-E, there are 6 remaining players, not 7. Also, now is not the time for lynches based on lurking.

a legacy of lurking is a legit reason for suspicion.

The front of the thread says that HowardRoark is the replacement for Seraphim. I have Wall-E fingered as my towniest person, and Haschel actually seems pretty townie to me, so i feel like this driven is at least half town motivated, which is a good thing. And i've thought Seraphim is extremely scummy all game, so i'm going to hammer here.

Day four arrives and with it more death, a lot more death:

Jenethron was thought to have skipped town, but it seemed he had been hiding out in his basement. To no avail. You find his bullet-ridden body curled in the corner.

He was a
townie
.

Budja, who had just arrived back in town, also met a grizly end. He was found torn to shreds on the side of the road.

He was a
mafiate
....

which leaves just three alive: Haschel Cedricson, Popsofctown and Wall-e.

Pops seems to be noticably nervous. Suddenly he pulls out his gun and waves it at Haschel and wall-e.

"Stay back! I got silver bullets in this thing!" pops,
mafiate
, cries.

Haschel and wall-e, the
werewolves
, smile to each other, run their elongated tongues over their large curled teeth and slavering jowls and move in for the final kill...

WALL-E AND HASCHEL CEDRICSON WIN!!!

mvp: wall-e - was on most peoples town lists at the end of the game, killed two masons and a mafiate with his night kills, lead most of the lynches and guided his team to a flawless victory (and stayed with it all the way through :D)

night actions should be obvious, so that's a wrap!

Thank you to everyone who joined and a special thanks for everyone who replaced in (and for people who did both!).

Dammit, I knew Wall-E was off for some reason. I was seeing a connection to pops no. 1 during first day, though... He was constantly deflecting.

Also, why was I killed, considering my scumlist was so hopelessly off?

the scumhunting in this game; I sent in a kill order on my own partner night before last. That would have been hilarious(?).

If the mafia had hit a werewolf the game would go into happily ever after mode. :(

I blame the mafia.
We must embrace the pain and burn it as fuel for our journey.

The setup was great but we just played horribly together (especially my noobiness). Had I had more experience it could have gone better for me.

Anyway, I think Wall-E deserves the MVP award. I'm kinda surprised he didn't get NKed N3!
Yes. That same Tenchi. :D

Reicheru and Tenchi begin to bond more, sending love letters to each other.
