epic fail upon epic fail upon epic fail. Maybe using a different strategy would have helped you avoid this minor oversight.my role pm specifically states i cannot be lynched today
I guess you can elaborate on this come day 3 if you are still around.tubby wrote: i would not be a good choice for watch

Mod Cutscene 5
The night was ablaze with activity. Unfortunately for freeko, he fell asleep before it all happened.
Dawn arose, and with it, some interesting things have appeared.
On the ground surrounding the campsite, you find a bloodied staff, and an empty bottle of oil. You remember vaguely that these were held by Occam.
Occam, the Shepherd, was mugged.
Occam was a Shepherd who'd lost his sheep (Bo Peep).
In addition, you find the dead body of Juls out in the woods, though unharmed by wolves even in death.
Juls, a Wolf, has been stabbed to death.
Juls was a wolf, which is basically a mafia goon.
In addition, you appear to be missing someone else. You figure this is the same fate that has befallen on Occam.
BSG, unknown, has disappeared, and is likely dead.
It is now Morning 3. You are now faced with two seperate paths.
Path A, according to the map, takes you to a lake with a somewhat small shore area.
Path B seems a bit rugged, as it goes up and around a large, rocky hill.
The first person to bold Path A or B has made the decision.Bastard ModGod. Mislynch fodder. Suave savior.-

Well that answers a lot of questions. Good fencing @the JulsSlayer btw.
Now 4srs, does anyone have anything that would suggest that one path is better than the other?
I sense this is why the Watch choice makes so little differenceJebus 833 wrote:The night was ablaze with activity. Unfortunately for freeko, he fell asleep before it all happened.

I would go for path B. Rugged and up and over a hill doesn't seem so bad. Seems like wolves would have a hard time following. Also, on top of a hill, we'll have a better view of the surrounding areas. On the other hand, lake + small shore seems like we could get surrounded and backed into a corner with no escape pretty easily.
Seems like freeko is also an incompetent watcher. Doesn't tell me anything I wanted to know, however, because I did not want freeko to watch.-

so we can assume that the "taken away" or "disappearing" kills are wolves , and the stabbing is an sk/vig?
at least thats what i think so far i need to be less hungover and read a lil more"I swear tubby is scum in every game I've read, even some of the ones he wasn't in. "~Vi

Well korts, at least I believe you now about the watch. Completely worthless red herring.
Good going to whoever pwnt Juls.
Its obviously a fairly worthless red herring, next one is all yours if you want it. Though take a look at this first.Seems like freeko is also an incompetent watcher. Doesn't tell me anything I wanted to know, however, because I did not want freeko to watch.
Well, we know thats a lie, and pretty irrelevant. The path choice could be a red herring as well. Time will tell I guess.juls wrote: And just an FYI, on D1 the path Kiro got from the mod was Path A.
scum, X, nk target. Whats the blank in this equation class?juls wrote: Got a minute between class...I would say my top 3 are me->rhinox->BSG.
juls wrote: Why freeko? Before I thought Rhinox had shown interest in watching.

Based on the empty bottle of oil being among Occam's possessions, I think the watch would only have made a difference if he had done it (with a lantern, he would have been less likely to fall asleep, or at least see something).
I second Path B personally, but I'd like to hear if anyone (actually) has any idea of what's going on regarding the paths before anyone chooses one.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.-

Kiro-Occam(Page 5)
Juls- Vi (Pages 19 through 29)
Juls- tubby (Pages 30 through 33)
-----
Table of replacements:
Rogue Shenanigans -> tubby
Spambot -> Sipylus -> TonyMontana
Prom King -> Vi
Lunar_Tick -> afatchic
Kiro -> Juls
-----
Observations:
I see Rhinox's name on this list. A lot. Which makes sense; me and him always wind up on the high-profile bandwagons
In all seriousness, I'm going to need to look over his interactions with me regarding Juls. I was so dreadfully lonely on that wagon for the longest time.
TonyMontana seems to like showing up at the end of bandwagons, as does his predecessor Sipylus. For this and being unconvinced of his D2 play, TonyMontana is my top suspect entering today.
I also see Korts' name on this list. A lot. Okay, I know there were only a few active players in this game at some point. What strikes me about Korts is that Juls hopped onto his wagon in quite the scummy way. This would lead me to believe that Korts is more likely Town... though I would like a fullclaim sometime to satisfy nagging doubts.

For now all I can say is that I completely agree with suspicion on Rhinox and support a lynch on him. I have some things to be clarified by the mod before I'm going to post more on the matter.
On the fullclaim you want, Vi, I can claim, but again only if there's a majority demand. I don't want to claim before my power is put to good use; it is a useful power, especially when looking at the mod-revealed information.
The path: I say Path A because the rocky terrain implies possible scripted deaths. The lake seems a safer choice.scumchat never die-

Turns out, after thorough discussion with the mod, that I won't be saying what I had intended to say after all. I'm gonna have to make a case the usual way I guess.Korts wrote:For now all I can say is that I completely agree with suspicion on Rhinox and support a lynch on him. Put me down for the shore..
Vi, I can't answer for what sypilis did, but I think you are overstating how I get on wagons. Personally, I would be more concerned of how korts seem to appear on every single wagon in your (conclusions excluded) nice compilation of votes.
Should we assume that the day-delayed reveal is just a part of the game, or is it possible that we (or someone) can do something to save the people?
Rhinox seems pretty keen on selling the idea of a mountain walk. Do you know something? (other then your profound flavour reasoning)
Well, who knows, maybe scum gets something out of a watch, cause it seems like we get bupkis.freeko wrote:juls wrote: Why freeko? Before I thought Rhinox had shown interest in watching.

I would believe it's a method of scumkill. By killing the mugger, we could get instant results like we got with the Vig/fencer.TonyMontana 845 wrote:Should we assume that the day-delayed reveal is just a part of the game, or is it possible that we (or someone) can do something to save the people?

I've already explained why I do not believe Korts is guilty - I do not think Juls was bussing him.TonyMontana wrote:

Nope, I don't know anything more than anyone else - I just didn't want korts to make the decision . As far as I can see, it doesn't really matter which way we go. We've had nothing happen as a result of direction so far, and I've seen no hints to say that anything special will happen this time. Somebody bold something so we can get on with the day.Tony wrote:Rhinox seems pretty keen on selling the idea of a mountain walk. Do you know something? (other then your profound flavour reasoning)
-----------------------------------------
Also, Vi, Freeko, since we know Y'all are masons and what not, talk about anything fun and exciting during the night? I'm curious as to why Vi has freeko listed as the most town person besides himself...
-----------------------------------------
anyways, I'm going to go out on a small limb and speculate that there are either 2 mafia remaining, or 2 mafia + sk (I suppose 1 mafia + sk is also possible, but the only time I've seen a game with only 2 total mafia + 1 sk, it was insanely biased towards the town). On the flip side, 3 townspeople and a neutral are dead.
So, that means setup-wise, we're either at 5-2, or 4-2-1.
5-2) Not technically Lylo, but if there is a vig who was responsible for juls death, tonight would be a bad time to misvig if we don't lynch scum today.
4-2-1) Not a true lylo, but no good will come from a mislynch either. A mislynch + no crosskills at night is a mafia victory. A mislynch with mafia killing sk, and sk killing town is again, a mafia win. A mislynch with mafia killing town and sk killing mafia is a 2-1-1 crapshoot tomorrow. A mislynch with mafia killing sk and sk killing mafia is a not too bad 3-1 lylo. On the other hand, lynch sk still leaves us at 3-2 lylo tomorrow, while lynching mafia could put us anywhere from a 2-1-1 again, to a town win, depending on the crosskills.
In either case, its infinitely better to not mislynch today
Similarly, the amount of time you spent voting juls makes me think you were not bussing juls - in other words, not guilty.Vi wrote:I've already explained why I do not believe Korts is guilty - I do not think Juls was bussing him.
