but you never voted bronco, you voted gabe, and you're dodging my question.

What sort of retrospect can you possibly have 3 pages into D1?

Patience is the key to this game. They often stretch out over months.

What question voting three times? I voted three times to get everyones feel to who I voted for, just wanted to poke and prod a few places to see reactions and feelings you know, my ma works at a butchery and you gotta make sure the meat is just right, so you gotta poke around a bit.

fun/entertaining =/= pro-town

lurking and active lurking can be scummy, but there is no evidence of this happening. People will post infrequently. I only happen to be posting so frequently right now because I don't have any work to do at the moment.

FoS : Mufasa

You changed your vote twice in a day, I'm beginning to suspect you.
I won't cast a vote now because as I've said, I'm just beginning to suspect you.

I don't think you're the only person who is playing here for the first time, so that's not going to get you far, just so you know.

The random vote usually has no substance to it, but after that, we would hope you'd have a good reason for voting somebody, especially if you're hoping for the vote to result in a lynch. If you're frequently vote-hopping, one just has to wonder whether you really care who is lynched. Scum generally don't care who is lynched just as long as its town, and it's best for scum to work quickly. It's best for town to be patient, make sure everyone is talking, and make the most informed lynch possible.

Does that make sense?

o ok thanks for the tips, I just figured if it is random really there won't be any information that will give an indication on who to vote for so i was just going with whoever had the most votes, and since both werent the most talkative I just did eni mini miny mo, didn't know there was any strategy during a random vote, thanks for the informative

A no lynch gives scum a free night kill, also no information for town. Then you offered to put a random vote on me, putting me at l-2.

No strategy in random votes, but sometimes they do provide valuable information. You could hit scum and get lucky with the way they defend themselves or you could see a quick rise to a defense which could be very helpful in later days.

@Broncofaninmd: You win the award of having the most complicated name of us all. I will henceforth be called you Bronco.

Also,

Concerning this, it would be nice to know how many games you guys have been in. I just would like to know for the sake of the first-timers, so I can get an idea of how much back round knowledge they have, and if someone throws the newbie, I can tell if this can work as an excuse.

This is currently my 4th game.

1st Game on here. Played 99 turbo games on Facebook mafia a while back, but not enough people play on that anymore to make the turbo games worth while..

@ Spinach & Broncofanmd: How long did each of you last in the previous game game with the 2 of you in it?

This is my first game on any online source, have played multiply games in real life, just you know seems like everyone has a different rule set, and on that mind set I've never played with a random vote that is the only reason why i am a little confused at the beginning of this round.

@bronco hmm you and spinach friends. Good to know we have a little bonding :)

@ newbie card theory I don't think people should give a "bye" to newbies because this thread is called newbie game therefore we all are pretty much newbs I think
