Two things:

1) NOBODY should make statements like "I think scum might have targeted [name here]."

2) I find day talking to be more powerful than night talking, and it seems like this ability benefits scum more than it does the masons. Perhaps we should purposely not post in the first 24 hours of the day to prevent scum from discussing things with each other in secret while the thread is active.

Say that person A is mafia.
During the first 24 hours of the day person B says something that makes A think that B is mason, so he decides to send in a kill.
A posts in the scum thread B's name then makes the kill.
If A dies, scum knows that B is not a mason.

If we agree not to talk in the first 24 hours, then the mafia cannot discuss while they are getting new information. Let's say after the first 24 hours if B says something that makes A think he's a mason, A can only make his target known to his buddies in the main thread using some sort of code.

It seems to me that skipping discussions while there is day talking going on takes away an advantage the mafia would have.


This is not the first game run with this setup. I read the previous game a while ago and seem to recall that the scum ended up losing because someone misread the codes one scum was trying to send to another.

Eh, there's not to much of an advantage because of the short time it actually is, and the amount of discourse (especially on day 1) is not going to be that great. That being said, if you can think of a way they would strategize by using what would you have said, withhold it.

Anyway, as I speak, there's only 20 minutes left for the scum to talk.

Also, I'm staying on Nicolis, and will explain on more detail why I have a strong hunch in 20 minutes. By the way, it's not a random vote.

The scum can't talk D1. It's only on the next days. I agree the first 24 hours of D1 aren't really valuable, but on in the future it could be.

I don't think I gave away anything to the scum with what I said. If they were dumb enough not to figure that out on their own, I'd say we'll have an easy win.

Nicolis did look odd to me, as it seems strange that she could possibly miss such an important aspect of the game. It was like a big dumb "A DURR HURR WHAT? I didn't know that so obviously I'm not scum or I would have seen that in my role pm, kkkk." Or something.

zwets, I would hardly call three people during randoms a bandwagon.
