If it is, it's just a mild one. He's admitting to throwing it out there, now, so I think he's well and truly associated with the idea of a no-lynch.

As to whether a no-lynch is scummy... well, I think we need to do the maths on this. Can anybody more skilled at stats than I work out the chances of hitting scum today? Is it fair to assume that there are 4-6 scum in this game? (I don't know, I've never played a game this big here)

Also, I think that I'm nearly the only person who has answered your question. What do others think of your case?

All joking aside, I don't think it is scummy to suggest that a no-lynch is a bad idea, but I don't feel that I was trying to detach myself from the idea of a no-lynch, and don't feel that I am now, either.

I thought that the pairings were determined randomly? Thus, his being your other head shouldn't affect your opinion of his play.

No I didn't *defend* him, I just said be careful of what you interpret as a scumtell in his case. I said the same thing in two other games where he was in fact town- Prisoner's Dilemma and alpha centauri smalltown. The fact that his lynch/nightkill is linked to mine is even more reason to say it this game. End. It's getting boring talking about it now, really.

I don't like Slicey and Budja both weighing in on events and saying "oh hehe no-one looks scummy right now" in 195 and 196 respectively. Then Slicey defends an obvious point in 200 but admits he "could be wrong". Heavy fence-sitting taking place.

I'm kind of torn between No Lynch idea. D1 NL's are almost always bad because then we have very little to go on D2. However, if we lynch, we have to possibility of losing 4 townies (two on the lynch and two at night.)

Ok, the way he's expressed it isn't particularly scummy but it's still a bad argument- depending on how many scumteams there are, the scum certainly won't hit a pair featuring someone from their own faction tonight. So there's no chance of scum miskilling their own faction (crosskills may occur, depending on the setup). Thus I still think we revert to the obvious argument that no-lynch is bad because it deprives us of the only town-directed kill.

I don't really think Emp's vote on Santos is completely unjustified, and I agree with him. Though there are a lot of people who seem to be "just messing around" Like Tajo, for instance.

As for URoE, the only thing that bothers me about what was pointed out by RR is that he seems to like the idea of a no-lynch. But at the same time, he will only go for it when multiple players agree with it.
The reason why this bothers me, is that if you like your idea and you think that it's the best for the town, you should try to convince the others that this is the right way to go. And this gives me the idea that he's trying to look for an exit if the idea of a no-lynch was denied and if he would get attacked.

Santos actually supported it with a vote. It's not about suggesting the plan, it's how both of Santos and URoE responded to it. Both supported it, but only Santos voted for a no-lynch.

Im not having that much time right now to check out the majority of my games, specially in D1, but I dont want to be replaced since I know next week Ill be able to. You guys dont need to lynch me when there are so many good options like Empking for example.
