I disagree. I think it's very probable that there is more than one mafia group. The mod wouldn't have just pulled a random death out of the bag on Claus - even reading Fonz' explanation post;
The Fonz wrote:According to the way that night actions were submitted last night, Claus should not have died.
To me this indicates that he took a hit, but a role affecting this was missed - so unless it's a redirection role, it's likely to be a protection.

so why
did
you vote for militant? you did so kind of quickly, and without any explanation, almost like you knew a mistake had been made and you wanted to make it look like you had no idea militant had actually already been killed. or like you had tried to kill him, but had been blocked somehow, so you wanted to get him lynched instead.

then you say that you dont think there are two mafia groups. then who made the other kill? do you think there is a lone killer of some sort?

and why exactly are you now voting xylthixlm?

Hoopla, reading into the way the mistake was made will never do us any good, there are too many possible explanations. I see no evidence for two mafia groups.

I think Mili was probably vigged, I find it hard to see scum targetting him.

Given that we pretty much know there were three nightkill attempts last night, I'm really curious how you reached that conclusion.

We don't pretty much know anything. Its possible there were three attempts, or its possible that the mod(s) got the militant kill order and fucked up and killed claus instead cause they were both cops. And even if there were three kill orders, nothing about three kill orders makes it necessarily a second scum group,
unless
you know something I don't because your scum group is unusually small for a game this size.

When I PMed MafiaSSK to complain, he said that the mistake was due to him not seeing some of the night actions. Ergo, Claus was shot, and MafiaSSK failed to process a doc protect on him.

are you just going to continue voting without giving any reasons?

i dont know how you can see NO evidence for two mafia groups, even before learning what xyl just divulged.
at the time you made this comment: a) the mafia made 2 kills b)there is a mafia and some kind of lone killer c) there are 2 mafia groups who both made a kill
i just dont understand how you could completely dismiss out of hand the possibility of 2 groups.

take heart in this fact, ogml:
back up your vote or earn mine

we are not mind readers around here. and voting for someone without giving reasons gives the impression that you are trying to fool other people into seeing something that is 'obvious' when it is not.

magisterrain is right - OGML you've been doing this all game, jumping back and forth between votes, offering little to no reason why. Prime example is from D1 avoiding Sir T questions after he asked multiple times. It really isn't what I'd deem as pro-town play, and really is a simple way for scum to coast through the early few days.

The two cops are making me believe Der Hammer's claim a lot more now.

Either that, or we have a ridiculous number of scum. I think I'd prefer a miller(s).

Wow. What a strange day.
OhGodMyLife wrote:Well, that is pertinent information that I just did not have.
Actually, I had came to the same conclusion myself, based on the mod's post about how "some people didn't title their PM's properly"; made me think that one of the night choices got sent, but didn't get processed properly, which made me think doc was most likely.
Xylthixlm wrote: The two cops are making me believe Der Hammer's claim a lot more now.

Agreed. Two cops (especally if there's also a doc, as now seems likely) probably means either millers and godfathers, or cop sanity issues.
I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie

speaking of cops, where did claus go?

he at least seems to be sane(night one result was correct) , and if he has a result from last night it would be nice if he could share it.

Hmm...the "Florida" thing could just be a red herring. In a game of this size, however, I think we have a better than avergae change of having two scum groups.

In any event, could you clarify what you think Xyl did that is scummy?

You just did the same thing in relation to Xyk - voting without any expressed reason as to why. People have every reason to be worried when somebody acts that way.

The world is a big placed. While you were posting, it was 5 AM of a very long day for me :-P

Anyway, believe it or not, I'm asking confirmation from SSK about my result pm - unlike the N1 pm, which contained a clear "Result: Guilty", this one was a bit ambiguous. When I get his confirmation, I'll post again.

Also, after I post, I'll probably be silent until later in the day. There is another game here which very much needs my attention.
