OP: WHY? There was no deadline, we had the time, and we could only get more information. He could have had to point out concisely what he thought about players, and then we wouldn't have to look through the whole game for his links with people.

Backed into a corner the man could run no further, so he elicited a cry. A plea, if you will.

Just as the townspeople were contemplating his sudden change in demeanor, Orangepenguin burst through the crowd and hung a noose around the man's head. He then called out:

"Come on, guys! Let's not let him get off that easy!"

Powered by this man's braveness to confront Vollkan, who had dropped the scalpel by now, the townsfolk found a vigor within them and rushed out to the nearest oak tree to do the nasty business of the day. But with their lust for the blood of scum, none could place together where exactly they had just been, until it was too late. They had left the town's hospital.

The sun rose, and with it, so did the heads of the town. They collected their selves back to wherever they were yesterday and stared at each other. Then one sparked discussion:

"Hey, I only count 8 here."
"You were counting?"
"What's it to you? Alls I know is that orangepenguin is missing."

Yes, good reader, it was true. Orangepenguin had been killed in his sleep. To discover his identity, the Town approached his home. Upon entrance, they noticed footprints all over the floor, leading from the outside. Surely these footsteps could only be those of the killer, not having enough time to clean up after him or herself!

The Town tracked these footsteps outside and through the forest behind Orangepenguin's house. Pretty soon they were deep in, lost and confused, and not realizing that their only means of escape would be the footprints they followed in. However, the prints lead on, and the Town needed to know the Orangepenguin's true identity. Pretty soon they approached a cabin with a lock that was just barely holding together. They smashed it and rushed inside, eager to know the truth.

All they found was a couch and a mini-fridge, and upon the fridge they saw a note that read "Reminder to Orangepenguin: Stop getting dirt all over the place! You may want to get it all over your house, but not in here! For the good of the town, we're supposed to be a secret!"

Looking around, they realized this couldn't be a mafia hideout. It was home to a group of Masons, barely struggling to get by. However, one thing was still unanswered, who wrote the note to Orangepenguin?

Thats some awesome right there. I'll be doing some research on that sweet wagon before this day is though. I can't decide if the other scum would have hopped on that wagon or avoided it entirely (however, the latter option only leaves me, ecto and TDC - overall I dont have issues with them in comparison to the others). I'll have to look (the fact that SL and DJ were both on it makes me think they hopped, but with both our damn masons on it it would have been a bit too obvious).

Don't think that ort is going to make it through this night based on last. Defintiely get your thoughts out.

Can't say I'm not surprised at the fact they hit a mason. However, that does make me wonder about fix some - it could me NK WIFOM, but why leave a softclaim alive when you kill the doctor?

I know we've got plenty of time for some discussion, but there is no way Myko is not the lynch for the day. So, lets not get too distracted this time.

what is this in reference to? what did you say? i'd be glad to give my take. i've reread the entire thread and, though unfortunate, it seems pretty obvious why volkan was lynched.

very plausible, but like i said, volkan pretty much lynched himself. he played terrible for a doctor. he grabbed the spotlight on the first page of this thread and argued with just about everyone. he never accepted anyone elses logic in what was basically a gigantic wifom discussion on self voting. he pointed to his meta and used it to justify his actions. apparently, he fakeclaimed doc before, too. myk stood strong against the claim from the get go. to be honest, i read the wiki guide and it seemed like volkan was 'textbook" fakeclaiming to nail a townie. acording to that guide myk's cc made much more sense. personally, i was already on the volkan wagon when he claimed, so i already had my suspicions.

ebwop: also, i had stopped listening to you out of frustration as well. not to beat a dead horse, but in my reread i find your play in the early part of the thread just as dodgy as i did the first time through. though i see now that my pov was tainted as a third party observer, the way you argued with fixijj and ecto was real roundabout. i'm not saying "scummy", but definitely attention getting. in fact, the mason claim seemed to break up your argument with fixijj and the whole issue of "policy" seemed to fade leaving fixijj "unsatisfied".

No, its not a function of ego stroking. Its much simpler than that - I want to win.

That lynch, considering how it all went down, was so ho-hum that it irritates me to my core. Myk (who I bet doesn't even bother posting except to not get modkilled) comes out with a bizarre counterclaim and when I try to point that out - nothing.

I want the answers for this reason simply: I am pretty damn sure both scum got Volkan lynched.

Looking at who wasn't on it is simple enough:

TDC hasn't played as much as I'd like, but when he does pipe in it does seem balanced and consistent. I've got a decent town vibe from him.

Ecto, even with all the early fighting with Volk (and I), did push on Myk before the claim AND was open to listening to what was going on without dropping the vote.

So, who was on it:

Myk's was self preservation after his little CC which worked.
Our masons were both on it.

That leaves Sl, DJ and Fix.

There's reasons to be suspicious of all of them now due to the way that things went down.

Fix, although slightly suspicious, is moreso now because of the whole softclaim and not dying last night over a mason (which is mostly WIFOM on WIFOM, but).

SL - well, funny how this still fits with what I originally thought. Not to mention the little "mykonian is town" statement without a lot of backing. Only problem is it seems a bit too obvious, but. In addition, personal paranoia equates the extra long night to someone not getting in their night action quickly and considering this setup I'd push on that being a scum.

DJ - Yea, we know my stance on him. The fact that even now its "tsk, tsk, Volkan totally did it to himself, how was I to know?" bothers me. And apparently "missing" anything I said after the claim by Myk.

So, yea. We can discuss but lets not wring our hands for dozens of pages and then have me ask for a super scummy deadline again.

It's funny, if myko had actually tried to defend himself he may have had a chance, however small, of convincing us there might be two doctors in the setup. But he didn't, and his last post in another game came after the new day dawned in this game.

But yeah, in light of the fact there's evidently no doctor left why have you not claimed yet mrfixij?
