He did say "I agree" to OGML's case, but ignored my response to that till now. When I asked him to respond to my response to OGML's case he agreed with, he came out and said something to the effect that I was not his number one suspect any more.

I can't decide exactly what to make of Hoopla here. He is way too inconsistent and sits on the fence too much for my liking. Definitely not going to vote for him today, but he's in my top 3 with Der Hammer and Seraphim on current form.

Bonjour. Reading. Can someone give me a brief summary of the case against the two candidates? In the meantime,
Original Roll String: 1d2
1 2-Sided Dice: (2) = 2
where 1 = Seraphim.

Elmo:
Der Hammer lurked like a mofo then claimed miller and self-voted. He then backed off the selfvote before speculating on cults.

Seraphim reacted oddly to a weird bit of play by BM before disappearing off the face of the Earth. He then returned only when under pressure to say that he suspected Der Hammer.

That's a deliberate oversimplification and overstatement of their scumminess, but if you're looking for reasons to vote them I tihnk those are the main ones.

Sir T, my opinion of you
has
changed but not because you requested replacement: more because your recent posts have been full of town and win. That said, I don't really agree with you about Hoopla. I don't see it as inconsistency - perhaps it's a bit scummy to want to play both sides of the argument (actually quite a bit scummy) but, tbh, I don't mind people sheeping so long as they come up with some original stuff as well, so I don't see her vote on you as suspicious.

Okay.. I don't see any reason to policy lynch anyone who freely claims miller. I believe policy lynching claimed millers was when a cop claimed a guilty on someone suspicious and the person in question claimed miller, which makes more sense - it's far more likely that the cop hit scum than a real miller. You can say just claiming miller makes him more likely to be scum, but that shouldn't take him all the way to 100% diescumdie, the same as any tell.

More concerned about the vote count. To put it in perspective, we need to get
minimum
another six votes on someone in the next 4.5 days. Let's cross-reference Hoopla's colour coding:

Seraphim (6):
Claus
,
curiouskarmadog
,
Der Hammer
,
Natirasha
,
vollkan
,
Hoopla

Der Hammer (6):
Xylthixlm
,
Seraphim
,
Sir Tornado
,
tubby216
,
Shanba
,
Elmo

Tubby216 (3):
SensFan
,
Yosarian2
,
xyzzy

Sir Tornado (2):
OhGodMyLife
,
Ectomancer

OhGodMyLife (1):
farside22

curiouskarmadog (1):
iamausername

Not voting:
magisterrian
,
skitzer
,
militant
.

Now the colours haven't been updated, but you can see that Hoopla was right, a lot of the two viable wagons is people who've posted recently. Ectomancer, iamausername, and magisterrian are green, and I'm assuming that Yos will be around to move his vote. That makes 4. OGML hopefully will make 5. Thing is, 5 + 6 = 11 which < 12 to lynch, even if they all go on the same place. Not sure what's going to happen without either a relative lurker showing up or at least one person switching wagons.

OK, here is my opinion

I think the majority of Seraphim's Case comes of off this one reaction she had about the Der Hammer case, which didn't make any sense to me, I had to read twice to figure out that was the reason.

Der Hammer, on the other hand, has been a whirlwind of strange actions that don't quite fit with anything else he says. From claiming miller, to self voting, to cult suspicing on Day 1, when the supposed cult hasn't done anything yet. I think this is the best choice.

Vote: Der Hammer

Hmmm...4 days left, Elmo? Ok, we've got to get moving.

I said earlier that I prefered the Seraphim case to the Der Hammer case, if that was our only two options, but I hate to let Der Hammer get away with lurking like this

Der Hammer, are we going to hear from you before deadline?

I am not going to participate in this game any longer as long as OGML continues to ignore my response to his case and the rest of you don't care anything about it. Have a good day.

Given you only have two votes on you, the most likely explanation for people not caring about your response is simply that they don't care about his case on you to start with. Is he scummy enough to vote over e.g. a claimed miller at this point?

Um...you're almost certanly not going to be lynched today, Sir T. Why don't you comment on the two wagons that might actually happen instead of worring about OGML?

Yes.

I still am in a position where my lynch might be a reasonably decent move for the town. As stated I am a Miller, so eventually I would become a problem for town so perhaps it is time for me to go gracefully. That said, here are my thoughts on recent events.

Vote: Der Hammer

In fairness, the cult mention was simply pointing out a flaw in Ectomancers plan to never lynch me, which I disagreed with.

Concerned that I might be lynched via Elmo's diceroll, which is a every strange piece of play.

Looking at those on my wagon we have

Seraphim, Sir Tornado, tubby216...

All three are looking very suspect to me, and I think lynching me with these three all on my wagon is a mistake. Theres 1, maybe 2 mafia right there.

What it all comes down to for most of you, if you actually thought about the actions of the game is whether someone would willingly claim miller on day one under no pressure. My one aim was to avoid a wasted cop investigation which now for better or worse I hopefully have. Make your choice based on these factors, not whether not I have lurked slightly over Christmas-New Years Period.

Good day, and hopefully you will make the right decision. I'm confident I'll see you in Day Two!

But...there's no reason for you to do that, Sir T. The reason no one is too worried about OGML's case on you right now is because it dosn't really have anything to do with the only issue pro-town people should be worried about now, which is "who do we lynch today before deadline?".

If you don't replace out, since you just said you want to keep playing, then we'll talk about it tommorow. Right now we don't have time to waste on side issues like that.

It's about having some basic sense of decency to respond to someone who is trying to respond to your accusations of him being scum. If the town doesn't care about OGML not having it, then I don't care about what happens in this game anymore. Do whatever you like.

Most of page 38 was spent debating this - I didn't present a case, but I think I've effectively showed my reasoning behind it during our lengthy debate. I will say my thoughts (of Sir T) have lessened recently though, and he is now starting to look more like a frustrated townie just wanting answers.

While an investigation was not revealed, I believe the pressure was still high when the Miller claim came out. I dont believe that forgives the earlier behavior, particularly since he shouldn't have been drawing that much attention anyhow.
I have a degree in bullshit. I have patents on entire lines of bullshit. So don't sit here and feed me a line of bullshit and think that I'm not going to recognize it as one.
