I have made a wiki page for the Best Friend role

I am unsure if Best Friend has been used in at least two games hence its role status is currently Untested (the Known role status is for roles that have been used in at least two games and/or are Normal in any capacity).

I'd rather not, as there is a small but not insignificant difference between Best Friends and players with the Informed role that know "You are informed that {player} is aligned with the
Town
, and are informed that {player} is
Informed
about you in the same way you are informed of {player}."

Best Friends would flip as Best Friends, confirming the nature of the information received but not the specific information. An Informed player would simply flip as Informed, giving no information to the information that was received.

Likewise, a difference in the flip applies to Companion as opposed to an Informed player who knows "You are informed that {player} is aligned with the
Town
." - Companions flip as Companions, confirming they know someone is aligned with the Town, while an Informed player flips as Informed.

A role X that sais "You and [players] are member of a group. Each member of that group is an X and knows this" may be meaningful, thou niche. Powerwise, almost the same thing as having a bunch of Moonlight Dancers.

For multiball Normal games could you make a modifier that makes it so the Mafia NK only works if it hits opposing Scum?

That would open up more creativity.

I doubt something like this would pass a review, but in theory you could just make the entire Town Bulletproof, and not make the other scum faction Bulletproof.

If you want the other scum faction to be able to hit Town, you can make them all Juggernauts. If you want the Mafia to gain the ability to kill Town after eliminating the opposing scum faction, make them all Bulletproof Enablers.
Maybe the real Mafia was the friends we made along the way

the BP-Enabler bit would actually not work as intended (probably, but it may be a feature) because the BP role will be disabled as soon as a BP-Enabler dies, even if there still exist living other living BP-enablers.
But more importantly, I think that there must be at least one VT?

I need a ruling on this; but if we want Red Mafia to be only able to kill Blue Mafia unless the Blue Mafia is exterminated, this may work (possibly, I don't really know); assuming 3 blue mafiosi, make all of them [Juggernaut Bulletproof-Enabler Bulletproof-Immune (Bulletproof-Immune)-Enabler (Bulletproof-Immune)-Immune ((Bulletproof-Immune)-Immune)-Enabler].
  1. When the first one dies, then:
    • They should disable all BPs, but do not because they are BP-Immune, and so their effect does not "see" the BPs;
    • They should disable all BP-Immunes, but do not because they are (BP-Immune)-Immune, and so their effect does not "see" the BP-Immunes;
    • They should disable all BP-Immune-Immunes, and do.
  2. When the second one dies, then:
    • They should disable all BPs, but do not because they are BP-Immune, and so their effect does not "see" the BPs;
    • They should disable all BP-Immunes, and do because they are no longer (BP-Immune)-Immune.
  3. When the third one dies, then:
    • They should disable all BPs, and do because they are no longer BP-Immune.
Of course a 4-team Blue Mafia would require [Juggernaut Bulletproof-Enabler Bulletproof-Immune (Bulletproof-Immune)-Enabler (Bulletproof-Immune)-Immune ((Bulletproof-Immune)-Immune)-Enabler ((Bulletproof-Immune)-Immune)-Immune (((Bulletproof-Immune)-Immune)-Immune)-Enabler] etc. which grows very ridiculous very quickly
