I think Kay is undertoning that she never succesfully RVSs scum. But the phrasing of this on a reread seems off.
What’s the difference tonally between 'Imagine my rvs vote was actually on scum' and 'Imagine my rvs vote actually was on scum’? I think to me 'was actually' would sound more natural, as in like, "wow, imagine I actually got the scum right in RVS for once!" whereas ‘actually was' sounds like "imagine an alternate world where my rvs vote was on scum". sounds to me as if Kay is scum and Nick is not her partner

When you say voted do you mean over the whole day in total or where your final vote landed? And did you auto discount your scum game from this list or include it?

Really tempted to just prodge my way through the day, I find it hard to get into games after being absent just as they start picking up. But I will try and do some reading today even though it's another busy one and form some actual opinions. If anyone wants to give me a "here is the major stuff that has happened so far" summary it would be appreciated but I don't really expect it.

I’m acting upset, annoyed and defensive because I’m feeling all of those things. I’m pretty sure nearly every time I’ve gotten to this point in a game where I have to continuously defend myself against things that are just being forced into the “this is scummy” role have all been me defending myself against the actual scum of the game. So me saying “again” so much is because my feelings are reaching outside of this game and being pulled from my combined experience in general. If you turn out to be town then you are just tunneled and you think you’re right, but you’re going about it all wrong. You’re not even trying to see the perspective that I could be town and you’re forcing a scumread on everything I say and do. If you’re scum, okay, that’s what scum does. It sucks for me that I’m so often the target of scum in this way but whatever, I guess that’s just your job.
But for my own sanity, I am going to stop trying to defend myself from what I really think is just scum trying to push me and make me look as bad as possible when I know I’m town.
As I’ve said more than once, Jack voted you. I thought to myself “hmm that’s an interesting vote I wonder what brought that on” since it was a naked vote. I went back to reread the previous pages to see if I could understand a vote on you. Then I saw what I felt was inconsistency in your posts, re: asking for info, and then being against claiming. So at that point I thought to myself, this doesn’t make much sense I think I want to vote Enchant. So I did.
I think you and ketchup are getting hung up on the fact that it was Jack’s vote that was the catalyst for my vote when it could’ve been anyone.
I find it very odd that voting the same as another person is being pushed so hard as me “sheeping”. Ketchup called it that and I said sure, he was technically the reason for my vote. But why I’m being accused so hard of sheeping is beyond me when I’ve explained ad nauseam WHY I voted Enchant and not once did I say “well Jack voted so, so I did” which is what sheeping is. I don’t even know WHY Jack voted Enchant, I just know why I did.
Like seriously, go scrutinize someone else’s actions that aren’t being explained in detail every other post like mine are. I think I’m very much being used as a distraction here by scum and it’s really annoying.
