I feel bad saying this because they’re new but not a super fan of zachs posts. I’ll let them cook though and come back to this after the game advances somewhat as it could just be nerves and not knowing what to do (as either alignment)
OMG I WAS ABOUT TO SAY THAT BUT THEN DECIDED TO HOLD IT BACK FOR A BIT OMG OMG ACTUALLY IN SYNC

Nah I've come back to make a contribution, it was pretty much ignored, now it's sleepytime. Also if HA is sleeping I better be sleeping too because that cat's got insomnia or so I hear.

origin of symmetry is my favorite album ever
Holy shit best friend spotted
(Black Holes still clears tho)
i have recently concluded that black holes and revelations is their 2nd best album i used to think it was absolution for a very long while but i did a relisten and i thought that it was kind of boring. bhar is much more fun and Interesting in what it does
Several Muse albums come close for me but BHAR will probably always be my fav because Knights of Cydonia is what got me into them + it's a 6-min song that somehow doesn't feel that way at all
(If this makes you think I'm a cultured music guy please don't, this is the only "real" band I follow lmao)
i sadly do not think of muse as Culture these days (or ever really lol) because their last few albums were mediocre to really bad but the first four. magical. effervescent. ahead of their time. etc etc
This is a perspective I understand but can’t really subscribe to, I find a lot of their efforts to “branch out” from the 2000s stuff interesting even when they don’t work. The Resistance/2nd Law are probably up their for the title of most overhated album ever, and Sim Theory is up there for me as well. Even when they miss (especially with their newest album, where my opinion is quite low) I still feel like they always put out two or three golden-age level gems that keep me interested long-term
Muse has been in what amounts to 1/3 of my life atp so I’ve gone through all their stuff and disliked a chunk of it, but they wouldn’t have stuck with me that long if I thought they were fully washed

Every time you abbreviate halfasleep I instinctively think you’re enthusiastically laughing at what you said
