Claiming Blinkmoth Nexus probably killed all of your chances for not attracting unwanted attention :P

That the Town isn't dim enough to lynch a claimed and mostly-proven Serum Giver? :P

Also coming up soon by me is the second part of the Planeswalker Trilogy, Into the Aurora. If you thought this game is mighty fun, just think about the hijinks I can get into in Lorwyn.

Pre-ins go to Nicol Bolas. And I will give you twelve priority. It will be a large theme game.

Some comments on it are

Wow, the things I miss.

Interesting game overall. I was miffed some by the rulechanges as it went on - I understand they had to happen, but it did make me pull my hair out.

Town winning this the way it did will make me laugh for a while.

Some of the things you said D1 made me laugh for a while. (Well, after the initial read where I was like "I have to replace into
this?
".)

@Nati: I'll play. That sounds like the kind of setup I'd run when I become eligible, so I'm interested in seeing how they work from the players' side.

One thing I was proud of this game is that, somehow, we broke the stigma that all games have to have 4+ replacements. I believe this was due to the fact that the town had so many options to discuss. It turned a mostly-vanilla game into something exceeding more interesting.

Finally, for being such a great town(especially Porkens and CFR), if you guys ever need a replacement for a game, or a back-up mod, or just a reviewer, I'll gladly join as long as I'm not full on games.

Dude, I made a TON of posts in this game. I think this was my most enjoyable game on mafiascum to-date.

I enjoyed it so much, I couldn't wait for the end game to comment. Here's what I said:
Me wrote:It's interesting how the trinity of vote categories seems to divide the town's attention considerably, yet I feel we've gotten more done by page seven than in any other game I've played on this site. I've played games IRL and in chat format, and the major component of those games is trigger-quick thinking. This community adds a whole new layer of logic and careful data processing to the achievement of victory, but this game has felt quicker and more intense by far than any other I've played here. I think the culprit is the addition of two new goals for the players to achieve each day; it causes a psychological sense that more is being done in the same (mechanically) amount of time. Please don't post to comment only on this paragraph, folks!

Corruption on the Throne 2

I wrote up a fairly sizable post earlier that my family promptly closed the window on when I got up from the computer. Basically, it said:
  • Fun game Nati. Really liked it. The only-kills-metal-SK really balanced things nicely.
Sera, sorry you had to claim. I knew you were town as soon as I got powers, but there was no way the town was going to let you buy after what you had said.
Pork, what made me scummy near endgame?
Vi, you really played good, you just inherited a crappy situation and then caught some bad luck when Illumina killed the same night you got serumed. Had you been in the game from the start, I doubt you would've caught nearly as much heat as you did.
GGs all around.

Pork, Spyre, I'll see you guys in Netlava's game soon. ;]

I'd rate the modding at a 7.

I liked the idea behind the setup, and it's nice to see an involved mod.

However, the serum-power rule changes, the uncertainty of extensions, and the irregular vote counts definitely impacted my enjoyment of the game.

I also thought the post about the typos was completely inappropriate, and injected the very same modifom that it was supposed to eliminate.

Overall, I liked the setup, but I though the modding was a bit too "hands-on." Maybe a little more preparation would have prevented the issues that came up.

I honestly am telling the truth when I say that the Two-to-Forever with the serum was supposed to be in the rules. I just forgot them.

The extensions were absolutely my fault, though. I think that the short deadlines did help the game move quickly(just look at Boost Mafia, which is barely on day two, and has the same idea as this game) and helped activity levels a TON, but I need to think of a new way to do Extentions.

I tried to get a vote count every RL day at the beginning, but I didn't feel like it warranted a V.C. when only one vote had changed. I have learned from that mistake, though, and will harder next time. Thank you for the feedback.

EBWOP: Also, what did you guys think of the way I formated the first post? I tried to make it easy to see the gamestate and basic role info, but I'm unsure how it worked.

I don't want to leave you with an all-negative feeling, the feedback is an attempt to be constructive ;)

I really do like how there was so much to talk about tin this game, for sure. Like I said, sew up the holes, and run it again, I think it would work very well

The deadlines actually felt very close, which in turn made the somewhat dodgy extensions rather welcome. Consider doing a Deadline Extension Review at one week, deciding whether you will do another review in four days or if you'll move to Night in four days.

I personally think that vote counts are best done only as often as needed, although to a degree that requires you to hover around the computer. If all else fails, one of the players should be willing to do a count though, so I don't really have a complaint here.

Last, I wasn't fond of "locking in" majorities for the serum and the synth. Although Illumina didn't mind, I think.
