I feel like you're trying to navigate this to a place that you can dismiss this as "ari thinks i'm bad" rather than "ari thinks I'm mafia" because it's much easier/comfortable for you to fight "she's being mean to me because she's saying I suck" rather than she thinks I'm mafia because I did all these things that are hard scum aligned

like a genuine town thought process and then locktown and move on, then reset when the POE is completely empty

This occasionally bites us when scum slips through but more often what ends up happening is we find a townslip from LHF and decrease the number of easy lims while limiting the people getting limmed to people that are hard to sort anyways

Out of the likely lim routes theta is the slot I feel most comfortable flipping scum / would be harder to sort in a do or die scenario.

What I had against theta yesterday was soft stancing and the loop of showiness compared to action. By that I mean statements like XYZ is interesting I should look into that. Or telling thread they are going to iso dive and spew their thoughts.

Personally I do this kind of thing as scum, some games are just rough to get a hold on to. So the hope is someone is interested in what you’re throwing out and there goes your hook.

And in general I just don’t have a general idea of where Thera has stood at any point in this game. That might be me glazing over their posts so I’ll do the diligence at some point.

@RCEnigma the last time I was in a game with scum!theta (not that long ago) they lock towned me pretty early and just played the game of agreeing with me most of the game or w/e. It was heavy pocket central. I kind of ignored theta because role related reasons and seemed reasonable.

In hindsight that reasonableness was scummy. The focus on mech was also scummy. Theta is doing neither here. And I don't see where Theta is making moves besides the fact has no confident reads and is not pushing anything

i am kind of surprised that Theta didn't push Naerys more? I mean maybe not cause Theta seems kind of...in different mental state than me. But Naerys played this pretty much exactly how Theta scum mate, Skygazer, played this game when confronted about effort/etc.
