We're going to partially claim here and say that a Lightning Rod effect definitely happened and that we can also provide confirmation that up to two other night actions happened tonight outside of the Kill + Lightning Rod.

This does feel like the kind of setup that has to be PR-heavy to be fun.

The claim makes sense. I don't think it's a fake claim. So as a lightning rod doesn't make too much sense for scum (or they'd be blocking off their own kill), Hu is town.
