Don't ask for specifics because with PK everything can be interpreted either way. It's probably WHEN he says/does things that matter, so it's more of a matter of conception rather than solid reasoning.

I’ve been in games where we see similar success early and the game is seemingly in hand. Everyone gets complacent and doesn’t question/push appropriately, and scum survives until the end as part of the towncore and wins. This is specifically what I don’t want to happen.

I think that the reads at the start of day 2 are largely going to be good, and any scum angling to win would step up their game immediately if they wanted to stick around.
hence slots like cakez that have had a large change in play are suspect

Youre obviously not theta, but I didnt have much love for the slot either, and as a single scum a rep in is a perfect excuse to post, for instance.
The tell will be in sustaining this energy you have now.

I didn’t give a ton of energy to analyzing theta because I can see the role card, but I would feel the same way about not feeling great about the slot if I didn’t know otherwise. So I totally get where you’re coming from.

Is it possible that you’re reading into it more than you need to? It’s as simple as - player excited about playing mafia replaces in. I don’t think that my volume of posting is alignment indicative, although I haven’t played as scum here in about three years so I can’t really self-meta at this point

mala is perfect as a poe policy lim in a game where there is 1 maf left on day 2
No play = no endgame
But is that a mafia solve? The way I view it is, I need to have a worldview of this game that has 7 confident townreads and 1 confident scumread. Policy alone is not very convincing to me.
