For our current top story, why wasn't CC looked at as much as TI/TM yesterday?

I think thats because CC wasn't being as outright scummy and as such was not distracting everybody. TM and TI were disrupting, CC was only lurking, if I remember correctly. That might not be the case though, if anybody has anything I'm forgetting, feel free to speak up.

Okay, now this is just getting ridiculous. I thought that this wagon was ridiculous on Day One, but you're still pursuing it during Day Two? Unless someone scummier comes up, I'll be voting you soon.

*sigh* I really dont think the strongest thing against NS/wolf is the "slip". Look at what else wolf was doing during D1 -

Early on, he started arguing about the PR of FL and PP reacting to it. This is not really scumhunting, just busying yourself presenting pro-town redderick. It does a good job of presenting a pro-town illusion, especially in large games, but it ultimately does not accomplish a whole lot.

When attention starts shifting to TI though, it seems like wolf is a scum partner. When I started pushing on TI, he started asking why I was ignoring xtoxm, who we now know was town.

Next he starts trying to push on Zilla (town again) without voting for her, while backing off of the Hybris wagon which is stalling out at this point. There is an acknowlegement of the TI case though at this point, although it is delayed due to TI not having finished his read which is exactly why TI needed to be lynched. It closed this window of vote avoidance and excuses.

Soon though wolf gets his vote to TM. TI is never mentioned again by him. TM is scummier due to him saying that he will act "more pro-town". Clear ignoring of the TI case is evident here.

All NS contributed was a failed vote on Hybris and saying that he would read up later. That read never happened and the vote ended up being left on TM at deadline. A quote of his sounded like he considered TM and/or TI scum though, but this was never elaborated on.

I forgot that wolf was replaced. It's a shame, because it was easy to look back for patterns of behavior. Now it'll be a little more difficult. That said, I still think NS is a good place to look for today. I also want to look at BA, mainly because of an inconsistency that I found between the time he said charter vs. wolf looks like town vs. town and just now, when he said that he always thought the wolf wagon was ridiculous and plans to vote for charter. Looking at connections, TI/BA/NS could all be scumbuddies. They definitely didn't play hardball with each other too much.

Being misguided (though I have to mention that we don't

necessarily

know that TM is town) and being deliberately misleading are difficult to tell apart. All I can offer is my honest opinion, take it or leave it.

Also, I think CC never has any original thoughts. Look at his last post. He just summarizes the general consensus without even stating any strong feelings. I often see scum that will go with the flow of the game thinking that will not upset anyone and they can coast by. But it makes me suspicious if you don't have any original thoughts and/or strong feelings. Shows you aren't trying to find scum and you don't really care who dies.

my answer to that is not really its more like a tie at this point between the two,

I know, I know I should pay more attention to this game but Im trying something here. If Nitro is town then I want to prevent more "easy wagon" paraphernalia.
If Nitro is scum, then prob all the people already in his wagon are prob town since I consider bussing this early pretty improb.
The basic question is if Nitro has been scummy enough to be optymal today when we (I) havent even looked around other interesting targets from yesterday, taking into account the amount of dead people today.
I know Im partially guilty of this and some others are but Im going to give a reread this weekend. I have to.

By your own logic, shouldn't you be looking at people that were voting TM at the end of yesterday then? I believe NS was one of them, as were BA and RF. I'd suggest looking closely at those three in your reread.
