I think just a goober for now since they didn't commit to trading nukes immediately. Hesitance feels townier in this situation.

That would be the lamest nuclear apocalypse if they got aborted because the launch site blew up.

Yeah that's the idea. The strategy is to stop a mass-nuke endgame plan from going through. As long as the counter threat exists, they can't coordinate.

Besides that...I don't see a town reason for investing in MIRV. It's only purpose is to hit as many people as possible since you can't double target somebody with MIRV.

it increases your overall firepower faster than lethality at the start - if you have 2 scumreads, it's fine. i was planning on a small investment there

see, we're 10 pages in here and it's still feeling like rvs from my skim, all agreeing on d1? idk if that'll happen, but I do like that idea with the low odds of them hitting

but "responsible nuke owner" is also a very convenient position for scum to take up

like scum usually don't have to be worried about being town read or not pissing off every single slot in the game

being conservative and lethal with your nukes is kind of a great way to play against that

so i mean it might be true that you are a special kind of person who has enough discipline to not immediately go for the rush of dopamine that comes from sending your upgrades in or launching a nuke

but i think on average it makes you greater than rand scum
Excuse me, I am very much the person who wants to hit buttons without thinking through every potential consequence.

But there is no dopamine rush to sending a nuke without the sense of righteousness and conviction about it. And don't see it on upgrades, if I knew for certain that I couldn't double up on a stat I would have sent them in already but even then it would hardly be comparable to trying to turn someone to nuclear ash.

None of this why you nuked me in the first place though?
this is 2 scum talking to each other

Get out of here good pro town strategy.

I do feel Norwee was just kinda going for town points with there idea.
