You were at one point, but you just said you're tempted to revote him. It is scummy to vote somebody on something that most likely cannot be helped. If qwints really does have a restriction that makes him post like that, than it is not voteworthy. I'm a gambling man, but I'm not gambling on voting somebody who, given that it's Mind Screw, simply might have the misfortune to be unable to communicate.
And if you're trying to use standard scumtells here, I can pretty safely say you're in the wrong game.
Then again, qwints could be the one accessing the Tarhalindur account, but that's speculating.STRANGERCOUG: Stranger Than You!

Opportunistic voting is not the entirety of your case. Attempting to use your meta to defend yourself is also part of this mix. I don't give a damn about other people's meta. I prefer to judge people by what is presented in front of me, not e.g. what was presented in a game that was played five years ago.BlakAdder wrote:

Of these people, hasdgfas is obviously a double voter, so I think investigating him is a waste of time. TehVariable would make a nice investigation target IMO, and I have a gut feeling about qwints. I'm not exactly sure I like Kairyuu anymore, but I think it's best to proceed with caution in terms of what he's been saying post-claim. Admitting to lying is a good way to kill people's own reads on you, and right now the neutral he claims (which I believe) is a best case scenario. I don't have any regrets with my origin claim at this time, but he needs to be watched carefully. For the moment, I think keeping him around will work out better in the long run.
I like DrippingGoofball even less and it comes off as wanting Kairyuu policy lynched. Yes, I'd normally invoke LAL on him too, but the first policy lynch we had this game didn't work out the way most of us wanted. This is a mind screw game, so I questionANYpolicy lynch working the way town wants it to.

We've already whack-a-moled. The mole was Cephrir; he was town. This is for the lynch.Electra wrote:

First of all, I believe Kairyuu mostly, but I'm sure he's still holding back things about his role. However, there's no point to whack-a-mole him - I would suggest whack-a-moling someone we really don't know anything about.
And then I think we should lynch Kairyuu.STRANGERCOUG: Stranger Than You!

Didn't we speedlynch one of the jesters for claiming a neutral role, while we're on this subject?veerus wrote:
I realize this is WIFOM, but don't you think the odds of Tar anticipating this kind of mentality are pretty high? Plus, MS2 was a mini, here we still have 2x as many people as MS2 started with.malthusis wrote:I WILL NOT believe any ''I'm a neutral, don't lynch me'' excuse after the fiasco in MSIII where we found out the neutral who we didn't lunch was an SK and won the game. Vote Malthusis (Kairyuu)
Considering Ceph and Seraphim both turned up town, I'm at a loss. I would like to see some other people contribute as we still have a lot of lurkers. What I'm seeing right now is a concerted manhunt on a likely neutral player (yes, self-aligned is neutral and, as seen with jesters, will not end the game) when we should be hunting scum. I wonder why that is.. Yes, his abilities affect everyone, in fact, for all intents and purposes, it seems to me that he IS Mr. Mind Screw.
I still say DrippingGoofball should die. Kairyuu can be debated forever and ever whom he benefits, but voicing the lynch of a suspected player as sub-optimal ≠ scummy. Yes, I've had second thoughts about Kairyuu too. I have posted them. That means solely that I like him less. It does not mean that we should be wasting our time stringing up a player that brings us no closer to winning the game.STRANGERCOUG: Stranger Than You!

No. Remembering a jester claiming neutral being lynched and thus getting us nowhere ≠ thinking Kairyuu is a jester claiming neutral and his lynch thus getting us nowhere. The only relevance jesters have to this topic of discussion is remembering one being speedlynched for claiming a neutral role (I believe survivor, but I have to go back and reread). Lynching Kairyuu, regardless of his actual role, will not get us any closer to winning unless he is a serial killer, which I don't see anything supporting.dahill1 wrote:are you implying that Kairyuu is a jester?

I seem to be talking to a brick wall, but then again a brick wall is being built in front of me. If he's scum (and I'll even go as far as to count SK as scum), then I'll eat my hat. Otherwise, don't say nobody warned you about this being a waste of time.STRANGERCOUG: Stranger Than You!

I do see the benefit of going after the leader instead of the standard cultist, but that is not enough of a defense if you are a cultist.TehVariable wrote:Hi. People voting me. Did you miss the part where I'm ESSENTIALLY CONFIRMED? I can't be two alignments unless I was cult recruited. And if I was cult recruited, shouldn't you be looking for the leader? I doubt I'm running the Cult of Tweedle Dum here. Please recall past events when you make future votes.
