the most important thing to know about baseball is that there's a ten second delay between anything exciting happening in the game and the crowd in the stadium reacting to it. the reason for this is that baseball is a comically uninteresting game where basically nothing happens 99% of the time, so no one is actually watching when it does happen. when tommy edman hits his first homer, everyone in the stands will be drinking beer and eating peanuts and looking at their phones. a live commentator will excitedly say the words "home run" and the whole crowd will start hooting and hollering and pretending they know who's at bat. except for one guy who brought his own custom-printed notepad that he's using to manually write down the statistics of the game. he's having a blast. he'll excitedly turn to one of the fellas he came to the game with and start explaining the concept of wins above replacement

Admitting I don't know enough about Koba's play here. Enu says we looked into it at one point, but I have no recollection of that and I disdain meta as a rule anyway.

Pooky being the first to bring up the absurdity of the numbers first could go either way, but early-lock on Koba sounds town-Pooky-ish to me. Granted, that's really thin and meta-based and I hate myself for saying it, but I'm in the middle of developing a new playstyle with the aid of my system, so I'm gonna do some real weak shit in the meantime.
