in a parallel universe (mafiauniverse) somebody called shad is doing a walrus with something like 40 different people with something like 50 submissions

it's typical on that site that people let you give two different submissions to the same walrus although conventionally you would do subsequent ones from an alt account. and i also think that people just don't use alts there as much and so as far as i understand people will just make a very straightforward alt account to send separate walrus submissions. you can see a list of submitters here. these might be like "i am submitting under this name with this list" or something i dont know.

with that we get things underway! i will start gobbling up your links tonight and i will plan to do my first reveal on saturday at 5pm US central time, (expired on 2023-07-15 17:00:00). you can still submit before, idk like friday and still be counted in this category.

we will be going in the order of (don't laugh) cat 5, cat 4, cat 6, 3, 7, 2, 8, 1. i think you could call this "waterfall order." the point is starting on a category where i'm inevitably going to give high catfit points in synchronized swimming (cf. the 2021 walrus which started on cat 3 where i gave like a total of 2 catfit points all around, which i kind of enjoy as a starting point in a cruel way but we'll do it different), as well as finishing with 2 8 1 which is pleasant.

an important addendum to the second chart is that, in addition to the existence of at least one past submittant that left me shocked, 100% of submissions made me say something to the effect of LETS GOOO!!!! (fist pump) when i saw them in my inbox. very happy to see every face old and new here and also exciting that the number went up from 15 to 24+ this time around
