Spoiler: a big reads list that is just information i have previously said except for my frogs read is different now and my temporal read has been developed further

probably town

peregrine - they seem to have a decent grip on things and are looking about and actively poking others
also they do have some firmer reads already so
klick - they seem quite engaged with the game and most of their interactions so far seem towny without anything pinging me as scummy

town lean

emperor flippynips - pretty good entrance and they seem fairly engaged in the game
temporallich - this i am doing a bit of waffling on
on the one hand they seem to have developed thoughts and firm reads expressed
on the other it feels a bit too fast but then again they were wagoned pretty early so
i can see that as a non alignment indicative response
whemestar - i need to look at them again and read their interactions with people other then temporal
but my read on them was due to them and temporal just having the vibes of tvt
norwegian - the read i originally expressed was one of two options one being town still looking for a scum read the other being scum looking for an easy mislim
after actually reading through everyone else i came to the conclusion that since i was also having trouble finding a firm scum read it was probably the same for norwegian
thus that or condition resolves to a town lean
here there be dragons - they seem to have a bit of dissonance between their heads
but they are definitely trying to hunt for scum so i will put them as town lean for now

firebringer - they are being scummy in the very theatrical sense that few people are able to actually confidently do as scum
i originally put them as town because of this but
with input from others that firebringer is in fact one of these people that can pull it off as scum i am probably just going to have to relegate them to being read later
i would not vote them early game though
students of prudence - while they have some content i have not been able to get a good vibe from them one way or the other
i would like to see more from them before potentially considering a wagon on them but if we get closer to deadline then perhaps that will change
doctor drew - i am suffering in my previous games read on them bleeding through to my thoughts on them this game
i should be able to read them better given enough time to reset from that
i currently would put them as a town lean though if i was not giving myself time to reset but i can probably say that is me overcompensating for my read on them last game
frogs - they seem to be handling the pressure on them well enough
i would like to see more from them in the future when there is not pressure on them but for now they can live

i am considering them as more of a policy lim as unlike firebringer they are not even providing much in the way of explanation or reads

Could you or anyone who would want to offer their opinions help me read Enchant? I don’t really know how to approach getting an alignment from him when!! He plays as he is, but if you are saying that he is making a good post it feels like you may have a grip on him?

It feels apt to ask now when he is a potential wagon!!

i dunno why we're panicking about too many townreads, the game just started you aren't going to have the whole solve with no flips the odds of that are uhhh about 0.3% if this were a mini normal, since i don't feel like speculating about whether we have 3/3.5/4 scum

i got elimmed day one my first game with them and then later my team-mate night killed enchant
and then i helped correctly elim enchant my second game with them
well correctly is a stretch given information that came out later

that was more of a right for the wrong reasons moment in retrospect
which is about the best i can usually hope for to be honest

Oh! I can give insight to that!

In that game I replaced into an endgame situation with a lot of information to analyze, which is my preferred way of playing! I like having a lot of things to look back at even if I am not the best at generating it at times, and I was forced to make decisions that relied mainly on things that were said that I was never apart of! But here, I get to actually talk to people over time at the cost of less concrete information to work with at the beginning!! Where I have to make a lot more assumptions than I would want to!

Let me try to read Enchant.


So Enchant is asked to explain their read on Klick. Their only given explanation is that Klick is evil. Enchant's scumread and vote on klick, by all merits, appears to be an clear-cut case of OMGUS because of Klick's suspicion on them.

Enchant's chosen way of going about our desire to understand their thought process is to show activity by repeating their scumread of Klick but not giving any more explanation of the logic behind their read or what thought process is going through their mind.

This means that Enchant either (a) has no desire to explain it, which can be for a multitude of reasons, or (b) simply cannot explain it and therefore chooses to not do so.
If Enchant was town i think they would be more likely to perform the first action than the second. (a)
If Enchant was scum they would likely be doing the second. (b)

Enchant however is being very active and responsive to any questions regarding Klick or their reads, it is just that the answers are very unsatisfactory. Avoidance is therefore out of the question here.
Deflection is an possibility, but scum!Enchant could just as easily ignore the questions rather than giving the bad answers we've been seeing. Leading to my next point.

Now Scum!Enchant could in this situation we are seeing choose to either (1) just ignore the questions from town by avoidance and lurking, (2) explaining the mindset behind their Klick scumread, or (3) to do the bad move of repeating the scumread and fueling the suspicion on them because of them blatantly doing an traditionally anti-town play of refusing to explain their own thoughts.

By choosing the unwise move on purpose (3), which would be a very bold and frankly stupid move to make as any alignment, but

double so as scum

, we can conclude that Enchant is much more likely of the town alignment based on their behaviour.

I can therefore say that the evidence clearly points to Enchant being more likely town than scum.

Enchant's evasiveness annoys the shit out of me in almost every game, so hopefully i just read them as an open book here and this shows that they cannot hide despite their chosen playstyle.

584 is an okay read list (idk if the read list is ordered or not, I prefer ordered read lists as relative scumminess is more important than absolute scumminess), I can see town making that read list

frogs has NAI vibes on page 24


602 seems to be posted with a scummy mindset, especially the part about not wanting to be mislimmed (only town can be mislimmed by definition, so frogs wants to appear town-aligned)

Hey everyone, checking in

Thoughts on main wagons: I prefer Enchant because Whemestar remains my only real scumread and is on Theta Alpine, but I think it's fairly likely both big wagons are town.

There's something about Whemestar's attitude and posting style that's screaming scum to me. It reminds me of catching scum in my chat mafia days.

I'm going into a big week at uni, but I'll try and post at least twice every 24 hours.
