I wonder if MH coached Italiano at all or if that was just rock solid scum play start to finish.- MUSHSHAGANA
I don’t feel like this specific town could have beaten this scum strategy played as strongly as it was.- MUSHSHAGANA
I'm frustrated with myself that I can't get any sort of read on you.- Redados-

i’ve reread italiano and while my head is… kind of in it my heart really isn’t. i don’t think that he’s done anything that egregious in his iso beyond being somewhat cagey (imo) and leaning more onto how he dislikes being treated in game but if it does happen a fair amount i understand wanting to snark more than contribute. i also don’t want to vote mala so.-

also i think im more likely wrong on italiano than mala being town because i’m having an easier time think of teams for him to be scum than her but it’s shaky ground-

Townreads:
Aisa - As much as DGB's post was hilarious I think that it gets to a point where the weasely-ness is so weasely that maybe it's actually a true reflection of someone's thoughts. That's the feeling I get from Aisa's posts at least. And I like the reaction to the weasely accusations. I don't get the sense that Aisa's trying to hide the fact that it has caused her to try and be a little more direct (which scum may be tempted to do), but also hasn't completely eliminated the thought-meandering (which over-compensating scum may also do).
Malakittens - Town. Probably the most cohesive team read. I also thought that the backing off the Mastina scumread read as genuine.
Xofelf - I feel preeeetty confident that this is xofelf-town, which Klick agrees with. And I think that if xofelf were scum, at least one of us would pick up on something being off.
Somewhere in between town and idk:
Ydrasse - I still think that Ydrasse's play here matches what I expect from her as town and maybe I shouldn't be held back by this caution but yeah.
Arko - I get an overall light town impression! I also think that scum would feel more self-conscious about the lack of vote/direction.
DGB - 437 while I disagree with the conclusion I think this post in particular is more likely to come from town.
Mastina - Klick and Bella both think Mastina is scum.
Shirou - I like the general loose and fun-ness to his posting, and there are also more specific things like the early Arko townread in 210. My confidence in this read is a bit weaker than I thought it would be (and my team's thoughts range from leaning scum to leaning town) but I don't think I would particularly go for a Shirou elimination today.
Idk/Conflicted:
Ausuka - I think Ausuka's posts are.. fine? But I don't feel that much else from them, which is generally where I think scum are most likely to be... in the unremarkable. There is an edge to her interactions with Ydrasse and Italiano that I do see as potentially townie though.
DkKoba - Klick townreads them, Bella scumreads them, I want to scumread them! oh and Radical Rat thought they were town a little while back. It's all over the place. I did feel like Koba was doing that scum thing of really intentionally appearing differently to different people, like they knew who the "important" players were and focusing on them, but it would seem from others that that's not necessarily AI for Koba. And part of me thinks that the commitment to that, the complete lack of appeasement, almost obliviousness to the fact that I could think they're scum, could be town.
Scum?
ItalianoVD - I think Italiano might actually be scum. The continued vote on Koba just seems like a ploy to subvert expectations, and the posts that appear more heartfelt remind me of the sort of mode I can get into as scum when I'm being suspected and feeling down about that but trying to use that to build some genuine energy. For example, I think that the 472 is genuine, just tweaked slightly to be about town winning, with parts like "I really wouldn't care as scum" feeling overwrought and honestly... unlikely to be true. And 496 is probably a true experience, but I can't help but feel that it's posted with the thought of "this will sound genuine at least".
Kowahbunga - I'm not convinced that there are genuine reads behind Kowah's posts. They want to eliminate Koba, but don't seem aware that a lot of people have expressed townreads of Koba/are not thinking about how that elimination might happen, and then 486 is just a strange agreement-style post to make for someone as convinced as 347 makes kowah sound.-

I think kowahbungah comes off as limbait more than anything else. The push on koba is the kind of thing which would be really counterintuitive for scum to do and seems genuine to me. I'm really not convinced by the argument that they're scum for pushing there when other people are townreading Koba - I think it is common for town players to behave that way, especially more aggressive ones.No matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-

question: does anyone like, have an actual townread on italiano at this point?
i feel as if recent memory is just everyone saying their teams find him weird or scummy or that they find him scummy themselves-

My thought is more that they on one hand appear convinced by Koba being scum but don't seem to be thinking about how they would make that elimination happen. I would expect at least some more thought about how other people townread Koba --> so I need to convince them!... or I don't think the wagon on X is as likely to hit scum as a wagon on Koba --> I should engage with this!In post 514, Ausuka wrote: I think kowahbungah comes off as limbait more than anything else. I can kind of understand townreading Italiano's ate but I don't think there's anything substantial from him. His play doesn't really feel like genuine scumhunting to me at all.
I think the most egregious part of his play so far was when I asked about his scumread on my questioning and he tried to play it off as "I'm not saying your read was fake, but my perception was that it is" which is obviously bizarre. When I asked about it he just repeated that it's his perception without like elaborating on the read. It felt like he was saying something he couldn't back up, and it definitely did not feel like a genuine thought process.
Other than that push the main things he has done is the AtE, making the shit-stirry comment about DGB and like, making broad strokes about activity instead of actually solving. I think there is a lack of genuine scumhunting in his posts and like I have not seen a compelling reason to townread him aorn.No matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-
