Hello there, ive done some maffia games but the rules were well different (no cops and hints were posted pointing to the maffia goons by the moderator after every maffia-kill)... Should I start with a newbie game, or go with a more complicated one since I know how most of the game works??

(besides one thing: are townies allowed to communicate in private with these rules)

Edit: O wow... These games take ages, im used to quick games where one in-game day equals one real day.. :shock:

SiestaGuru -- Newbie games are recommended, but not required. It's really up to you as to whether you start with one or not.

Townies are not allowed to communicate in private under normal circumstances. There are pro-town roles that can communicate (usually called neighbours or masons), but they don't show up in newbie games.

Hmm ok thanks. I guess ill go with a regular game first then, these games take so long that it would be a shame to have to sit out a game thats taking months, just to be more experienced in this type of gameplay.
