the most important piece of mechanics rn is the supposedly two nights in a row that scum didn't use their factional. first thought that comes to mind - and the reason we ended up flipping alisae - is that it had something to do with the hider. it was possible that on n3 the last wolf was unsure if firebringer hid behind them or not, so they couldn't perform the kill cause it'd out them. however, everyone that firebringer said he'd hid behind flipped town, right? that's alisae, asri.

Also...no night kill? So either Alisae is the wolf and couldn't perform the kill because FB was hiding behind her, or the wolf chose not to NK in order to implicate Ali? Or I guess some other possibility involving roleblocks or protective roles

this nicely sums up the easiest alternatives. since alisae is flipped town, the alternatives would be 'wolf chose to implicate Ali' or 'wolf was rbed/target was doctored' etc. I have the feeling that black might be a protective role, which is why he was against massclaiming etc. I think black is softing protective PR in some points in the game, so it makes sense. if that's the case I think black needs to come forth and hardclaim, because it might just be the last piece of mech we need to understand n3.

we have this new piece of information now with the no kill on n4, that makes me feel that maybe on n3 the last mafia either went no NK cause he thought firebringer could be hiding behind them, or thought the game was done anyway, or was rbed/doctored by black. either way not something that was meant to frame alisae necessarily. if that was a frame, then it makes little sense that the last wolf would keep holstering just to keep framing people that firebringer hid behind cause it's a trick that only works once.

the easiest explanation for no NK is that the last wolf is just redff:

I'll go back to my initial suggestion: let's flip redff, and if he flips town I want aristeia to use my gun to shoot me because the only time it's reasonable to resolve my slot is going to be this gameday/night. if redff doesn't end the game, then the last wolf is going to be nearly always in (fireisred, MT, black? firebringer?).

I have some issues with MT's claim because it's a copy of ranger's fakeclaim as scum in 2019, with the 'I used my role defensively' slimy things. she doesn't share a hood with groupscum so the alternative - and then the best explanation for lack of kills last night when redff flips town! - is that she is a Lone who does not inherit groupscum factional.

fireisred/black/fb are only here because everyone else is either a strong townread or mechanically clear, I don't seriously consider those as possible scum and my solve is like 70% redff and 20% MT and 10% one of these people setting themselves up nicely for lategame.

I think the double no kill could indicate that the last scum is possibly a Traitor/3P kind of thing, which weakens fireisredsir's clear on MT.
