What if there isn't any money remaining in the pot? I don't see any reason why everyone wouldn't just submit $0 the next round and leave, so is the rule that that basically happens automatically?

I guess I'm /in, the amount I'm sending now will stay if there aren't any further rules clarifications/changes.

Edit: What happens if only one player doesn't submit 0 in a given round? Do they get all the money left in the pot, or are they forced out?

That's what I get as well, which I suppose gives the perogative to submit a fourth bid. (I submitted a stupid bid, a correction moments later, a bid after the last correction, and perhaps a fourth bid now)

Shadyforce, you forgot about bidding 0 and voluntarily leaving. If we compete, it's basically the prisoner's gambit. If one of us bids 0 and the other bids 1, the one who bid 0 gets what he has now and the 1 gets everything else. If both of us bid 1, we both get half what we have now. If we both bid 0, we both get what we have now.

PBuG, want to see if we can figure out a mechanic that lets us split this? It'd get us both into the top 3.

So what's more important? Place or amount of money?

I was considering that, but thought it'd be a little cheap (Literally).

I'll send the choice soon, I promise.

Hee hee, I'm an evil kingmaker. Or you could say I just wanted one of us to win. Good job, PBuG.

IIRC, in some of the later rounds of the first game, the pot actually increased in size due to small bidding and big people making the high bid.

If we're starting a new game, I was wondering if we could add some sort of mechanic to shake it up a little, like adding money to the pot as the game continues.

Fishbulb, a bid of 0 is a bid to leave with what you have.
