i just don't think klick!scum strongarms the nk from the rest of the mafia because gamma was aggro towards him

either the mafia disagree and choose someone else or they present other reasoning to kill gamma that's more appealing

unless it's like Klick/Gimli/fireisredsir and he got them to go with him because they're replacements but even then it sounds like fire was reading the game and would have opinions

I don't think he "strongarmed" anything. I believe we simply weren't suspecting actual scum at all in D1 and people poking Klick was the closest to a threat for them, and also a Gamma NK wouldn't have as much impact in the next dayphase given Gamma wasn't as loud as, say, me.

I believe scum wanted to eliminiate a less obvious threat and still give a "low info NK" that wouldn't change who we suspect coming into this dayphase (the unique addition to the old common suspects so far is kinda me)

It's far away from being "just NK speculation". The nightkill making sense for those suspects is just a compliment on the case against them.

The whole game the way I'm reading it now makes the most sense if at least one of [Klick/TGP] is scum.

This is my readlist so far with the slots in the "null" range perhaps not being truly null but I want to see how they'll act after my "cases" to decide their placement.

tbh im like mildly concerned at how i put klick suspicion into the conversation and started talking about that a bit and then shirou like full force jumps into that and starts hard pushing in that direction, when his last previous mention just had them in null/difficult to sort

it could just be the timing is a coincidence but it does make me hesitate a lil bit

TGP, the player who, is suspected by almost every slot in the game, especially by the "townier" ones (Pina/Norwee comes to mind the most, but also kinda me and Gamma/Una yesterday that are confirmed town by this point).

Now remember Ydra's TMI on Furtive in the Dance Game. Furtive was also suspected by almost everyone except MariaR but there was Ydra with her

correct town read on the "limbait".

Even if TGP is town here the most obvious reaction of most townies is to suspect it quite a bit. Even if Furtive was town in the Dance Game the obvious reaction from most slots was to suspect him.

From your own perspective, what do you tend to do differently as town than as scum? You seem like the kind of person who would have an opinion on this and I'm interested 7n hearing it
I remember being rather surprised that you were scum in Datisi's Cafe and so I'd like a reference on how to read you.

i think as scum i tend to care more about posting towny town thoughts that people will townread and having neat little progressions on people and setting up long term plans for how to win the game based on who i can take with me to endgame and who i can eliminate

i also really just personally enjoy playing scum against people that i know and trying to understand how they read me and how they read people so that i can take advantage of that and get them to townread me. getting that townread is the most satisfying feeling in mafia for me and i think im usually p good at it

as town i probably have less direction in general and i think lately at least one difference is ive more strongly argued for keeping alive the people that i townread in the consensus poe. but when i roll scum next ill probably add some of that into my play tbh so idk if that really is a useful tell

i think im also more self-conscious generally about where my vote is and about changing my mind? town i think i can sometimes wander off in new directions but as scum im more worried about optics
