yeah, it feels bad but I think the biggest reasons I currently have to vote TSQ are the way VPB played around your slot and the way Irrel played + the way Gamma played around Irrel
none of which TSQ can answer for
I did think TSQ/Gamma seemed originally unpartnered and I'm reading through that section of the game now, but it may have just been deliberate, extensive theater. especially if mafia team thought Gamma's interactions with Relly were bad and Gamma was going down"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"-

I don't have a lot of history of doing theatre like that with partners but I know thats not something you can weight very highly. As scum I'm much more likely to pick giant fights with town (see Anime vs Untrod Tripod in team mafia where I based my whole scum game around getting into 1v1s with ramcius)tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner-

shrug I also thought the gamma/TSQ interactions looked good for him so I understand why you'd think that
I think it is common for scum to push against each other when it feels like scum are under considerable pressure
I looked back and I am sort of drawing a blank on what to say except that it is well performed distancingNo matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-

I'm reading along still
idk if it's really helping me all that much at this point
I'm terrified I'm gonna vote wrong
Ausuka why do you think TSQ killed Dann over you a few nights ago? you've been universally townread pretty much the whole game yet here you are in 3p ELO, what do you make of that"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"-

I mean I have pretty consistently been defending tsq to some degree I imagine that played into it
In general i think i played pretty badly this game, I don't think I got much right after the confrontation with baltar d1
I also think me and dannflor were at like.. similar levels of being townread? No matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-

I mean having checked dannflor's iso, he doesn't really seem to express any backup suspects after Fire? Like i'm not sure who he would have turned on if he didn't die
I thought deas was more likely to be scum than shea at that point and said as muchNo matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-

tbh this is another thing I'm kinda weighing as to why you're town, you almost defend or ignore scum!HEM or scum!Gamma too much at certain points in a way that I feel reflects someone who is not trying to maneuver off of their flipsIn post 9256, Ausuka wrote:In general i think i played pretty badly this game, I don't think I got much right after the confrontation with baltar d1"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. ok I'm probably just gonna hammer TSQ soon, I apologize for dragging this out but rereading the game has been an absolute slog"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"-

one thing I'm thinking about is that this is incongruent to your reads in D2-D3-D4 timeframe when you consistently had Ausuka townier than me and kept throwing some suspicion my way, saying I was floating on the periphery at one pointIn post 9220, Thestatusquo wrote:I decided that I think ausuka has been riding an early town read the whole game while basically doing nothing to actually hunt whereas you have seemed genuinely interested in solving the alignments in the game."I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. fwiw i hope my posts didn't come off as snarky or like blaming you for taking your time; i think it's a reasonable thing to do, and i was also busy and probably would have had a difficult time rereading the whole game in the same way you did
i was just empty posting so i didn't get proddedNo matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-

Do you disagree that you were doing that?
I got blinded by ausuka and didnt revisit the read like I should have. I think part of it is I've never felt a particularly high sense of agency in this game so I never really felt the need to do much to fact check myself. I expected to be limmed and then have my reads looked at as part of a pool of limmed player reads.
I felt like in particular the last few days of this game you've been putting in work to solve and it really felt like to me that you were actually interested in getting the lims right whereas ausuka felt really content to just let whatever town wagon was happening happen and didn't seem interested in taking part in any of the actual solving that went into them happening.
That's why I voted you. I'm a feel and motivation player and I just don't feel like Ausuka had any motivation to find scum the last 3 or so game days here at all, I was just too distracted by frog and fire to see it. Which is on me for sure.
tbh can you just hammer me now so we can all move on with our lives? Ausuka deserves the win and I want to stop paying attention to this thread.tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner-

I still think looking at the late game will pretty clearly show that I have been solving
Shea was on fire early d5 and moved to frog afterwards when that was the 'happening wagon' while I was pushing fire throughout the day
Obviously both were wrong but "content to just let whatever town wagon was happening happen" seems more accurate to him than meNo matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-

whichever of you is scum please don't make me conftown in ELO again -.-
I'll be around to take all the Ls in postgame if this is wrong"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. feel pretty strongly that if I didn't have all the irrel nonsense hanging around my head this whole game this would have been a pretty easy dub, but I don't mean to take away from how well ausuka played. Truly a masterclass at the beginning, though I will say I was being genuine when I said your focus and care slipped at the end of the game, but clearly it was good enough.tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner-

Also this game showcases why I hate replacing in to games, but on the other hand I still feel a weird sense of moral obligation to do it, but its like even though you can get all caught up (although I've noticed a lot of replacements these days don't even bother) you still don't have that same emotional connection to what happened in real time.tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner-

I mean I was being genuine when I said I became busier as university began, although literally all of my scumbuddies replacing out at the exact same time did not help.In post 9269, Thestatusquo wrote:feel pretty strongly that if I didn't have all the irrel nonsense hanging around my head this whole game this would have been a pretty easy dub, but I don't mean to take away from how well ausuka played. I was also struggling with illness a lot through the game. I don't know how it appeared, but like I genuinely tried as hard as I could to play this game and post things and contribute because I felt like I had an obligation to do soNo matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-
